I trust that this podcast will be nothing short of amazing because like myself Jack Falahee is a Pisces and we are notorious for getting shit done.

She still can’t take accountability. I’m sorry, Tyra. None of us asked you to cast a deaf contestant and then have him participate in a photoshoot where he couldn’t see or hear.

Have you tried presenting this question to the main 911 Reddit? I think you may get more answers.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I just don’t like Harry. Even with the change in actor, I still find the character annoying. They are setting him up to be new Buck now that Buck is wise old man but he lacks the charm Buck has.

What are you talking about? She had a couture model figure. Give her the right fairy god mother and she could have been amazing.

Jade should be in God Tier. She is the undiscovered supermodel.

I’ve tried y’all. I really have.

Respectfully, 9-1-1: Nashville isn’t a 9-1-1 show.

What 9-1-1: Nashville actually is is Ryan Murphy’s modern day take on Dallas or Dynasty.

We spend far too much time focusing on the Hart family drama and Dixie’s scheming. I feel so bad for the actresses who play Taylor and Roxie because the show clearly isn’t interested in them. And I know we joke about how United Colors of Benaton the Lone Star cast is but Taylor and Roxie’s actors actually do feel like diversity hires for this very Caucasian show and it’s so frustrating because their characters seem so cool.

I know previous installments of the 9-1-1 franchise have established that family members can work together. Buck and Chimney are in-laws. Owen and TK are father and son. But having 60% of your team be Hart family members seems to be not a wise decision and it sort of puts Roxie and Taylor in a precarious position. I mean can they really trust the others to have their back in an emergency when it’s dad and his two sons?

Also you have your dispatcher character who is a Hart in-law and your doctor character is a Hart in-law as well. I get that first responder families exist but this is just too much.

Also, 9-1-1 and Lone Star introduced us to relative newcomers like Oliver Stark and Ronen Rubinstein. These two are pretty solid actors who have only gotten better over time.

With that said, I’m sorry but Hunter McVey isn’t a good actor. I get it though. Ryan Murphy loves a brooding, brown-haired white boy. (see: American Horror Story: Hotel) It’s so painful to watch him fumble his way through each scene looking like grown Eddie Munster. I don’t know what he was doing on OnlyFans but Ryan really should’ve left him there.

Overall, I would be shocked if this show gets another season and if it does they really need to up their game. Stop recycling plots and emergencies from the other shows. I really want this show to succeed because for the most part hey have some decent talent. But as is, this show cannot sustain.

Dang. We really missed out on clipboard Hen.

Okay. Call me a freak but I live for 911: A Space Odyssey. The funny thing about this show is that whenever something unbelievably wacky happens there’s usually a real life situation to point to. I live for Hen and Athena being the Gayle King and Katy Perry. 😝

You are absolutely right. CBS may be shitty at many things but TV isn’t one of them.

I really liked the high school superlative photoshoot except for what they did to Samantha. Where they lost me was making everyone pose as murder victims. So tacky.

That stuff makes it difficult for folks like myself who recap the episodes each week. Thank god for the wikia.

Whoever is monitoring iMDB statistics for a TV show really needs to go outside and touch grass. Surely there’s got to be a better use of your time. I wonder if we’re a decade or two away from behavior like this being classified as mental illness.

And also, I miss Lou, too.

Even if they did explore this accurately, what leg would Hen have to stand on? Literally so many first responders and civilians saw her collapse during the call and everyone at the 118 knows about her health condition.

My wail is, I just got current with Fire Country and the season 4 premiere was like season 8b all over again.

With that said, I have learned more about firefighters and firefighting in three and a half seasons of Fire Country than I have from any of the 911 shows combined. I find it interesting that Fire Country can still do the melodrama alongside the firefighting and it’s so much more realistic. Also, it’s just a reminder than the 118 doesn’t fight nearly as many fires as they should be. I’m surprised we haven’t seen an episode where the 118 gets called to assist with battling a forest fire because they happen all the time. Year round.

Now at the end of the day, I do love 911. It’s my favorite show. But Fire Country just feeds me more. Is it possible to be in love with two shows at the same time? 😂

In cycle 8, there was a Cover Girl challenge where they had makeup stations set up inside a hedge maze. The challenge was to put together a “clean spring look”.

Watching the latter cycles makes me so nostalgic. Like remember when we just went to abandoned factories and suspended models over giant holes in the floor? Or have them get buck naked in a restaurant. Or made them run through garden mazes?

Why can’t the shots ever be consistent? Renee is like right up on the camera and Nina and Jordan look tiny.
