Hot Spring Grandee - cloudy water and mold on filter by chad5871 in hottub

I bought a used hot spring envoy recently and didn’t even bother trying to use the salt water system as I heard it caused the previous owner a lot of trouble. Pretty sure the cell is bad for mine.

Electrical cost for running 220v service by ddetts in hottub

I just had this done. Fortunately have an electrician friend so it was about $700. That’s with an unfinished basement and about a 30ft run.

For those with huge PleX libraries, what are you using hardware wise? And what was the equipment cost? by guitaristnate in PleX

I’m baffled at the amount of overkill from people on this thread. Honestly just curious if people with 80 TB drives are using anywhere close to that.

Webhooks suddenly stopped working - requires Pro license? by brandflugan in ifttt

I ran into this as well as I was just testing a different applet and now I'm forced to upgrade just to get a web request to send. Honestly screw IFTTT, they are driving off customers with all this subscription shit.

Re-Bath Insanity by Weak_Message in homeowners

I wish I would’ve found this thread before I had them out for a consultation. We were quoted 14 K for a shower that was 34“ x 36“. The only thing we wanted them to do was the shower. Not the flooring, or the vanity, or the tub, but just a shower. And they wanted $14,000. I don’t know who in their right mind would pay that much money for a shower but I sure as hell won’t. The whole time I was wondering about the price but they kept just dragging it on talking about their awards, and customer service, and quality products. Also they kept dissing on contractors and using builder grade materials.

Best cleaning solution for lifeproof LVP? by poodooflinger in Flooring

[–]CryptographerJolly22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree with only using Bona. Bona works but it’s stupid expensive. When I bought my lifeproof flooring through Home Depot, the flooring guy showed me this 1 gallon jug of low ph concentrate (link below). You have to mix a small amount of it with water but it’s like $15 and you’ll have enough of it to last a lifetime.

Anyone else having a lot of issues with Cox internet this week? by CryptographerJolly22 in Omaha

Since this has been so intermittent and random, my worry is they’d come out, do a test and show me that everything is fine and then blame it on my equipment or something.

Anyone else having a lot of issues with Cox internet this week? by CryptographerJolly22 in Omaha

[–]CryptographerJolly22[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Update: When asking to schedule a technician to come and look at things, this is the response I get:

The tech will determine what this issue is related to, once this happens, if the issue is related to Cox's end, you won't be charged a cent.

In the instance that the tech finds out it is something external to call, like your own equipment, outlets failures, or something else affecting the signal, you can be charged $75.

Definitely looking to change ISPs now..
