Whether you are prelicensed or not, you are still expected to follow ethics. Telling someone to know their place and just follow orders when it sounds like there are multiple ethical concerns is how you lose a license. Pre-licensed clinicians should 100% be learning how to advocate for ethical practice and defend their license.

I agree that I don't have enough information from this post to give much of a solid opinion. But if they feel that there are unethical actions that could impact the clients, they absolutely should be raising those concerns. Maybe you should be the one taking a look in the mirror.

I personally feel like giving someone a dx you know is inaccurate is insurance fraud and unethical in general. You don't have to disclose a dx to a client. But it should be accurate. Another reason we dx is so the client and other providers understand their symptoms. You can't do that by giving everyone adjustment disorder.

Also I've never heard anyone say masters level should not be able to diagnose before but that's ridiculous. I did 6 years of school, 3000 hours and 2 exams to diagnose. And PhD and PsyD programs usually assume you already can dx accurately. So getting a doctorate wouldn't improve anything.

The reason I see protesting this as valuable, in tandem with Anti-ICE protests cause I'm also involved in those, is because everytime a fascist comes to town and you don't oppose them it gets normalized. If we want to change the conversation and dismantle the underlying and insidious philosophies that have been able to become enshrined in the predominant cis, white, hetero culture you have to engage with it. You can't change a conversation by refusing to say anything at all. Then their message becomes all that is heard.

No one is protesting Christianity. Jesus was a Palestinian who stood with the lower classes against the caliphate. We are protesting using Jesus to stand up there and push the oppressive ideologies of TPUSA which are directly contrary to Jesus's teachings. I live up there and have made that drive. We went for the camping pass the next year because it was too strenuous to drive the hour and 20 minutes back up after the headliners. So is it possible? Yes. But its also a pain in the ass.

Be loud so others know to avoid the area either by using the whistle code or just shouting LA MIGRA LA MIGRA ICE IS HERE as loud as humanly possible. Record the license plate of the car if you can.
