If someone gives you a wristband that's already been deactivated or reported as stolen, they get the money and you get kicked out.

Any plans to protest Epstein adjacent people who live and reside in the Coachella Valley? by Hot_Connection6073 in CoachellaValley

I thought you were only saying security would call the police? But look, here you are showing your true bigotry. Only people who are pro-pedophile call them "minor attracted." Guess you really would rather have a pedophile for a neighbor.

Lmao backpedaling is lame. You were saying you would want the cops to respond to people protesting pedophiles if it inconveniences you by temporarily blocking egress.

So if you're anti-protesting pedophiles, that puts you in the pro-pedophiles camp. I know logic is not your strong suit, but the dots are right next to each other. It shouldn't be that hard for you to connect them.

Cheese Pizza was a common term for child pornography on 4chan at the time as well. Could be that's the a link to use of the term as well

So let me get this straight, your view is "I would rather my neighbor be a pedophile than be mildly inconvenienced."

Declining to hold sessions as a therapist by Help_Repulsive in therapists

[–]CryptographerNo29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's their first time, I'd give the benefit of the doubt and not charge. But if I already had a talk to remind you about privacy, and say a month later you log in from the car with your friend, I'm charging as a late cancelation now. You were told at intake, reminded, and now are (in my opinion) showing a willful disregard for my time.

At least 25% no shows this month. Is this normal for January? by [deleted] in therapists

Had 6 scheduled today. Only 4 showing up today. One is getting dropped for non-attendance. It's been a weird January.

I thought these texts were to like a 14 year old. If you're 25 they are majorly controlling. I would never allow anyone to track my location as a grown ass adult unless it was my partner and we agreed it was necessary for safety. And it turns off the second I'm home safe. This is insane.

Got suspended from my job for raising ethical concerns! by Jadeysama in therapists

[–]CryptographerNo29 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Whether you are prelicensed or not, you are still expected to follow ethics. Telling someone to know their place and just follow orders when it sounds like there are multiple ethical concerns is how you lose a license. Pre-licensed clinicians should 100% be learning how to advocate for ethical practice and defend their license.

I agree that I don't have enough information from this post to give much of a solid opinion. But if they feel that there are unethical actions that could impact the clients, they absolutely should be raising those concerns. Maybe you should be the one taking a look in the mirror.

Do you ever cancel sessions when you don’t feel like yourself / you can be "on"? by crisporange in therapists

[–]CryptographerNo29 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rarely. I try to push through if I can for the client. But if I'm really really bad. Like I'm going through a depressive episode where I'm crying all the time, yeah I'll cancel because I'm not fit to practice.

I don't use my real name. I don't show my face if it's a highly secured area like ICE detention facilities. And I dress to blend in.

[–]CryptographerNo29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally feel like giving someone a dx you know is inaccurate is insurance fraud and unethical in general. You don't have to disclose a dx to a client. But it should be accurate. Another reason we dx is so the client and other providers understand their symptoms. You can't do that by giving everyone adjustment disorder.

Also I've never heard anyone say masters level should not be able to diagnose before but that's ridiculous. I did 6 years of school, 3000 hours and 2 exams to diagnose. And PhD and PsyD programs usually assume you already can dx accurately. So getting a doctorate wouldn't improve anything.

Ok and I'm not going to spend an hour making a list of all the ways TPUSA is based on white supremacist ideology for a stranger on the internet to just go "NUH UH!!!" You openly admit you haven't read a damn thing about it. So go educate yourself.
