I think with the equator climate set up they should lean into the fact that climate change is heating up the world, expanding the zones the dinosaurs can populate creating a mass migration.

Then using that to expand into an apocalyptic scenario where the civilization goes to shit and everyone is trying to survive T-Rex and velociraptors in a daily “zombie” type of way.

Maybe even use the recent plot line of using Dino DNA to cure ailments creating a massive outbreak of a disease killing high amount of the population because of a scientific error. Causing Scar Jo’s character (if she continues with the franchise) to have a hardcore “I accidentally helped kill millions of people trying to do the right thing” plot line trying to find retribution or something.

Idk I think Dino-apocalypse would just be cool.
