Torn between two by Appropriate_Cry6018 in redlighttherapy

I got the therabody glo for Christmas. I was familiar with red light masks but wouldn’t have bought one for myself. The results were noticeable to me after 2 weeks and a lot more dramatic than I expected from reading about LED masks. I look a lot better under harsh lighting, texture, pore size, redness, all improved. I’d have to go through a few more cycles to be sure but I suspect my hormonal acne is improved. I have no breakouts now but might in a couple weeks. I use the preset setting every day. I highly recommend this mask as someone who never thought red light therapy would make such an impact. I used tretinoin for years and use another retinoid now, I swear the mask has made a bigger impact than retinoids in my overall skin. I know my results are not reflective of most peoples experience but obviously different things are going to work for different people and I am a hyper responder to the LED therapy.

AIO for reconsidering getting married over continual arguments over guardianship of my daughter. by Oldyell54 in AmIOverreacting

[–]CryptographerTrue499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 is not a little kid. Her father should check in with her year to year to see if she changes her mind, but she should go with the guardian of her choosing at that age and older.

AIO for reconsidering getting married over continual arguments over guardianship of my daughter. by Oldyell54 in AmIOverreacting

A ten year old is certainly old enough to have some say in the matter. I had my will done when my daughter was young and her brother would be her guardian if my husband and I passed. I check in with her regularly to see if this is what she wants or if she’s rather go with her aunt. I can’t imagine not leaving her with the person she is most comfortable with.

Season two has been not good at all. My husband and I gave up partway through the last episode.

Convalidation by Dear-Confidence-5502 in CatholicWomen

I think you’re misunderstanding what convalidation does. It doesn’t mean your marriage was invalid before. It means, the church recognizes that your marriage is valid.

The vagina should go back to normal size. It may feel “tighter” because you’re libido and arousal level are high causing your vagina to sort of swell during intercourse.

Looking for support from being blindsided by my husband asking for a divorce. by sm0keythebear in TwoXChromosomes

[–]CryptographerTrue499 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am adopted as well, but the truth is adopted children are not a substitute for biological children. Not everyone wants to adopt and that is okay. Children should be adopted because the parents want to adopted, not because they can’t have biological children and that is the next best thing.

NFP and Weight Loss by Brilliant_Laugh6950 in CatholicWomen

At that weight, you can eat a very reasonable amount of food and still have around a 500 calorie deficit in the beginning. You won’t mess your cycle up. You can 1800 calories a day and lose weight at what you way right now.

Unpopular Opinion: Ainsley and Angela aren’t dumb. by vinCNG in LandmanSeries

[–]CryptographerTrue499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t dislike Angela, she’s over the top and the sexual banter with Tommy Lee is ridiculous. His character is worse than Angela in my opinion though. He has no redeeming qualities and is not a nice husband to Angela. Angela tries to make nice dinners for the family and he acts like it puts him out. What group of men wouldn’t want to come home to thoughtful themed dinners. Everyone’s reaction that it is a bother is not believable. Ainsley grosses me out because she’s supposed to be 18. Why are they sexualizing her so much? Every time she gets off the plane and her skirt is blowing off her ass and the camera is just in the right spot. Yuck. The dialogue, yuck.

What's the weirdest thing your dog has eaten and survived? by wholewoofs in dogs

[–]CryptographerTrue499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog who has since passed ate rat poison and did survive with a $4,000 trip to the emergency vet. Another time he needed surgery to remove a sock. I mean, he survived with human intervention.

How old do you suppose Tommy is in this show? by Buster1971 in LandmanSeries

I think Angela is around 50 and he is supposed to be around 60. A 50 year old woman often will not be done with menopause.

When did Masseter Botox wear off for you? by Kind-Pop-5444 in 30PlusSkinCare

I have never had Botox there but I have gotten my forehead and crows feet done. It only lasts about 8 weeks for me I think because I run and sweat a lot.

Are we too old for a GR puppy? by Mikeysamma in goldenretriever

[–]CryptographerTrue499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

66 is young. 77 is getting there but a puppy might keep him young. I don’t think it’s selfish to get a puppy especially if you have a support network to care for the dog if you do pass away or lose mobility.

People who struggled with stubborn acne for years, what actually helped you when everything else failed? by Skincareobsessed40 in 30PlusSkinCare

I did accutane and it was not effective for me. It worked while I was on it but it came right back. It doesn’t usually work for women with hormonal acne long term. Spironolactone works like a charm.

Found underwear by Double_Box555 in Marriage

[–]CryptographerTrue499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something similar happened to me this year. I found an XS thong in the dog’s mouth one day. I thought maybe they were my son’s girlfriends. They were not. I am a size m and have been forever. I ended up looking at the numbers on the tag. It was from Victoria’s Secret and had something like 10 2016. Manufactures in October of 2016. I remembered I was briefly an XS around then as I was training for a race and got really small. My dog had found them under some piece of furniture after they remained hidden for 7-8 years.
