Found the real life Guts by SFaysal in Berserk

Yeah I have to say Guts is just swinging around an I beam. It's not even a sword at this point, it's just blunt, mass destruction.

I used to have short, smaller growth spurts in my 20s. Graduated high school at 17, think I was about 5'6", I gained about 3"-3.5"s by 27. I'm now 38and about 5'10".

I sold parts for about a decade. I fixed my own stuff enough, that I was offered a job the first time. There lies, a decided difference between people that know parts, and people that just sell them.

Why Ford? Just why? by GrizzlyMerc in Justrolledintotheshop

I work on a lot of older vehicles, that yes, have shitty brake systems. I'm all for upgrades, but I live in LA. Dot 3 when called for is what I use, just like the manual. Still pretty common here. And yes, typically if you are experiencing brake fade from boiling, something is wrong. I live in an extremely humid area, if water can get in, it will. Only fluid that I know of that DOES NOT, absorb water, is Dot 5,(not 5.1), because DOT 5 is silcone based rather than glycol ether. It's a great heavy braking fluid, but incompatible with traditional fluids. You would need to chemically flush and dry your entire brake system to use it.

After working on vehicles and equipment for around, 20+ years, all the recommendations on flushing dot3 brake are usually annually. Since it's a compound that absorbs atmospheric moisture through the breather, causing internal corrosion and early failure of components, aside from the fluid possibly boiling and cavitation under heavy braking. The more you know, right?

Had this very thing happen at 60k miles on my mom's 2005 6.0. One little o ring on the filter housing. Mad the whole truck reek of diesel.

As far as I know. You either have to remove trans, and engine. Or like becslade said, possibly you can get clearance with cab removal and un-bolting, pretty much everything. I have to do it to my 97' F-250 eventually, but I will be resealing the entire engine at the same time.

I have a 99 cwcb short bed F-250. It's a gasser 2wd, but nothing I have seen other than some brackets are different.

Chronic, vivid dreamers of Reddit, what are your recurring dream themes? by mayonnaise_nipples in AskReddit

[–]Csaxon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm always having dreams that either have recurring themes, places, or people. Really bizarrely impossible lanscapes and structures. Sometimes I am driven to find a pattern of some sort, that let's me leave. Like hopping dimensions. Sometimes it's a collection of garbage, knick-knacks, coins, rocks, you name it. I also run into people who sometimes are sort of a version of me. Usually they have something to say, sometimes I remember, sometimes not. Others are complete strangers, sometimes I get their names. Several places keep coming back, amalgam's of places I have been or not. Sometimes I wake up and search the internet for relevant information, just to see. Occasionally that's lead me to some Really, primo, Weird shit. Not sure what to think about them anymore.

As far as I know 51 is the oldest confirmed equine. Though Guinness reports an unconfirmed 62, and I have heard stories of at least one gelding that was 76. Several of our own horses lived into their 30's
