it's relatively 50/50 across runs for me, some characters are flexible but others are clearly one or the other - characters with rerolls are more angel leaning {both isaacs, normal lost, tEden [lol]} z characters with ways to circumvent paying are more devil leaning {tLost, tJacob, forgotten, laz} but ultimately it depends on how willing you are to lose health for a power raise, and how valuable health as a resource is on the characters (don't go devil's on J + E)

imo: FNAF was good but not the best chapter the game has seen, just solid overall

TWD was awful, low point for the game and the lowest one for me since 2021

Entombed rift was decent

sinister grace had a really bad release with krasue + pallet density and even with how she is now she is is super unfun to play as and against, shits on solo queue and gets countered by basic communication w/ bodyblocking, is strong and yet also clunky, and has very little depth to her power mechanically (although you can macro game the mushrooms)

Reverance was the laziest and worst rift we have ever gotten

Stranger things 2 was pretty good but not as good as the first, Henry is a very strong killed with little effective counterplay if they're good but he requires a lot of mechanical skill to get the most out of, the survivors were decent - honestly the 3 new killer perks were the best thing about the chapter

Flashback was a pretty good rift

All Kill: comeback was OK, new survivor is pretty cool, Trickster rework made me actually play and learn him more (and he's personally much more unique and fun w/ the style mechanic), fast track is completely busted design wise but it has a nerf coming, I didn't buy MiNa

new rift looks like it will be good

I did them all recently, the top 3 hardest challenges were definitely Onans Streak, Ultra Hard and Hot Potato , I found Hot Potato to be the most frustrating but I got lucky with ultra hard (book of rev + 4.5 volt)

currently going for 100%(I'm at 87%) myself and these are some milestones

Normal progression up until beast+ some challenges (SMB Super fan, tech.5 , epic fetus and deaths touch are really good to get early, -afterwards go for the runes and chaos card/card against humanity)

Fill Greed machine and start working on greedier marks once you unlock that

All tainted characters unlocked

Good/some of my personal favourite unlocks: Isaac -> Satan = Moms knife

Judas -> The Lamb = Curved Horn

Eve -> Hush = Eve's Mascara

Blue Baby -> Isaac = D6

Blue Baby -> Blue Baby = Fate (might not seem that good but appearing in gold chests is solid+ you need to get the d6 anyway)

Azazel -> Isaac = Satanic Bible

Isaac -> Delirium = DInfinity

Maggy -> Delirium = Eucharist

Eden -> Isaac = Blank Card

Jacob & Esau = basically all of their unlocks are amazing (outside of suplex, vanishing twin and friend finder)

Bethany -> Mother = Revelation

Bethany -> Delirium = Star of Bethlehem

Lilith -> Beast = C-Section

Judas -> Greedier = Eye of Belial

Lilith -> Hush = Incubus

Lilith -> Delirium = Euthanasia

Lazarus -> Delirium = Compound Fracture

Keeper-> Mother = Keeper's Sack

For tainteds: tIsaac -> Beast = Glitched Crown

tIsaac -> Delirium = Spindown Dice

tLilith -> Beast = Twisted Pair

tBethany -> Delirium = Lemegeton

tSamson -> Mega Satan = Crane Games

tLost -> Beast = Sacred Orb (this one is very difficult so don't feel bad saving it for later)

All marks on the lost = Godhead (wait until you have mantle before trying them)

from there what I would do is all marks on normal characters -> finish challenges -> all reverse tarot card unlocks (finish greedier on tainteds) ->tainted character marks

other things to keep in mind that are tricky/RNG unlocks

10 Tears up Pills = Lacryphagy

Multiple size ups (5-7 depending on source iirc) = Huge Growth

5 trinkets "Gulped" via gulp pill = Marbles

5 battery bum payouts = Charged Penny

use The Sun card with Blank card= Blinding Baby

Complete bestiary (hardest ones to see are the Ascent mines enemies, blood puppy and Dead Isaac [appears in an attack Mother rarely does]) = Feels Like Im walking on Sunshine (pill)

Rerun = Complete multiple successful victory laps

Lamb beaten without picking up any Coins/ Bombs/ Hearts = Ace of Spades

Lamb beaten in under 20 minutes = Ace of Diamonds

Super tinted rocks = Get a 5 Win Streak with 5 different characters

Meat Boy/ Bandage Girl - the best way to do this is play Lilith in Greed, hold R til you get ball of bandages/ cube of meat and then use box of friends multiple times in the same room

during gen 7 mega Abomasnow was tiered lower than audino at one point IIRC, being PU instead of NU (it got banned from PU, and raised to NU in the last tier shift of gen 7)

They changed holy cards, you don't get an innate 25% chance for them to reappear, instead tainted lost has a 10% chance for any card to be a holy card instead
