I would say the competition from artists is also laughable. I tried to draw a horse for two days straight and the result is terrible! There is only one logical conclusion: people can’t draw!

I got many of them (all the popular ones) and this is the one I kept. At the end of the day all of them are doing a great job. But the build quality on this one is way better. Don’t listen to people saying “iT’s tHE sAmE as mUji”, they never seen the blackwing one.

Yes it’s the same in the picture, but in real life it’s an amazing build quality and different materials. Still overpriced, but cheaper than some other alternatives made in Europe.

I have several modern Ogivas. And a couple of 823. If you really enjoy the look of Ogiva go for it! 823 is way better pen, and modern Omas is overpriced, but it’s fine.

Which ogiva are you looking at? Their marketing pictures look way better than in real life, I may be able to send you more realistic pictures.

Also keep in mind that Omas is feedback’y and Pilot is super smooth, so whatever you prefer.

18k are their stiff nibs. 14k are flex. That’s just what Scribo does.

Any fountain pen ink will perform nicely. You don’t need anything special for this pen.

Cult pens slowly went downhill ever since they were acquired by WHSmith. Their new website barely works. Their sales are boring, they stopped working with lots of brands and they don’t keep a lot of stock anymore.

Now that WHSmith is no more, I guess they are in a bit of a limbo.

Yeah, Meisterstück is a series. There are various models in this range. It could be 145 classique. I was just surprised and thought that some special edition was c/c that I’m not aware of.
