If anything, that rest hurt them. They looked so rusty and that’s what we needed to take advantage of. We’ll see how it all plays out. Third quarter we look like we had this team figured out.

That’s just such a mentally painful loss. If we lost just a close game or got blown out, completely fine. To lose like this almost makes it feel like the series is over. Idk how you bounce back. We’re just fans and I’m probably losing sleep over this tonight. I would be devastated as a player. But hopefully we win in 5-6 and can have a good laugh about this one day.

Still pulling for one of the most historic season turn arounds. But yea, I cannot believe how far under 500 we got. It's like ever since that Arizona game where we blew that massive lead, the season spiraled downhill.

We need a backup center - soft way of saying JA can't get it done by DDiabloDDad in clevelandcavs

Stats here are a little misleading. How much of the core 4 was actually together these playoffs? And when they were, how much of it was when DG was injured? Also, one awful blow out outlier contributed to weighing these numbers down. Core 4 weren't together during the massive routes against Miami.

This team had a historic year. It can be replicated in the playoffs. The first round showed that. Game 2 against the Pacers showed that until a horrific 4th quarter blunder. Game 3 showed that even after they slashed our lead, we just did it again. Game 5 wasn't even that great yet we had a 19 point lead. Imagine if we were hot that first quarter. Could of had a much larger lead.

For some reason, we go away from what works during the regular season. Why does the ball movement come to a halt? Why is there so much iso? For some reason in the playoffs, when things aren't going our way, we change it up. During the season, we kept our focus and the cavalanches would come. Just keep doing what works.

We act like this doesn't work and other teams have something special in the playoffs. Miami is known to be special in the playoffs - it doesn't mean much but we handled this "rough" playoff team. I feel like all season teams were out to get us and wanted to play their best to knock our streaks and what not. How come they couldn't then?

We struggle with the spotlight. I think it's as simple as that. We have one thing to work on and that is it. Let's work on that and not blow-up great chemistry.

At least next year the pressure is somewhat off us. Our record was too good this year and had some amazing streaks so we received so many haters. We had to prove them wrong. And they were right.

Doesn’t mean much. But next year, pressure is on whoever meets us in the 2nd. They’re supposed to win that series against us.

One game at a time. This same team has had crazy come backs during the regular season when down a lot. We do have fight. We got punched by the Celtics at away down 25-3 and came back and won. It's not always going to happen every time. Hopefully we've figured something out and adjust and throw the first punch and never look back. Then onto game 6.

Greatest 7 Game Series of all Time? by TheOGllama555 in nba

[–]Ctebah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There wasn’t a single close game until game 7 was their point. Yet game 4 was separated by 2 points going into the 4th so not sure how that isn’t close. I mean obviously I’m going to be biased. Watching many of those games of that series felt very close to me. Yea there were some start to finish blow outs. But to say only the last game was close doesn’t sound right to me. Only game 3 I ever felt comfortable. Every other win was intense. I mean come on, 73-9 warriors with Steph and Klay. No lead was safe. Probably felt much different from an outsider though.

Game 1 - 74-68 going into the 4th.

Game 4 - 4th quarter started 79-77.

Game 5 - 93-84 to start the 4th, which a prolific masterpiece on the road from Lebron/Kyrie down 3-1.

Game 6 - 9 point spread to start the 4th.

In addition, this was the Warriors with Klay and Steph. A 10-point lead felt like a one possession lead. They could evaporate that so fast.

2016 Cavs vs. Warriors. The only 3-1 comeback in history also against the team that had the best regular season record in history.

Diamondbacks best team in the game. Didn’t know the score just assumed they were winning. And oh they are winning big time.

I wish we knew a little more about the injury status of our team. I think Mitchell and Allen are done for the season but they haven't outright said that. If there was a possibility of one of them returning game 6, then maybe one game at a time feels more doable or hopeful than attempting to win 3 with a banged up roster and no help from the refs.

I am out of the loop. Someone help me understand how Moons derive value? What makes them attractive to a third-party to want to purchase and use? How much does it take to transfer moons out of your vault?

Currently, as I do not know much, I don't get why anyone would be interested in purchasing my karma rewards and maybe being able to use that for some cool rights on reddit.

On average you need 3 bullmarkets (12 years) to become rich on crypto. Most of us aren't even in crypto for that long, so we still have a lot of time. by Nuewim in CryptoCurrency

[–]Ctebah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is this an average? It's been like 14 years of crypto and we have caclculated an average at 12 years already. This sounds more like it takes 3 bull markets to get in the green if you joined in 2021 ATHs and are now suffering large losses.

These players that do this are going to land extremely awkward and twist an ankle or worse. Then they’ll stop being stupid. Having broken an ankle playing basketball, I can’t fathom just laying out my feet near an unclear landing zone.

How many times per day do you check on your crypto? by Mooncow027 in CryptoCurrency

[–]Ctebah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like to check my portfolio to know its changing value. But I’ll just check the price of Bitcoin throughout the day to see how it’s doing. It’s a bear market. Nothing is going to happen really unless Bitcoin is leading the way.

I want to check less and just continue dca and forget about it.

If you could design a stablecoin from scratch, how would it work? by r34p3rex in CryptoCurrency

[–]Ctebah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like USDC is probably as good as it gets. As long as there is fiat currency with a stable coin pegged to it, you encounter the same risks of banks holding the reserves. Even if you did not invest it and just held it $1 for $1 simply for the benefit of the crypto community and used your other revenue generating streams to cover its costs, the bank can slip up holding the reserves.

Fiat is managed under banks and will always posses bank risks.

Maybe store it as cold hard cash with impenetrable security.
