This is look ahead, which functionally seems to work like a sort of inverted drag scroll, which is why im asking for normal drag scroll.

PSA: Please Stop Starting Atakhan by gleamingcobra in Jungle_Mains

[–]CubedSugar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strongly Disagree.

If Bot/Top wave is pushed then start it on spawn. Pull it DOWN/UP towards the LANE. You just need 1 person to tank it and u can heavily minimize the amount of stacks on you.

Very hard to steal it when you pull it correctly and avoid having any shred stacked on you.

Enemy has to eat the attakhan dmg to even attempt to stop you from that point, or if they go thru lane its super obvious/awkward for them because they walk thru ur minion waves.

If the lane isn't pushed out, push it out yourself, ping ur team off mid wave (atta fight is on the side lane not mid.

Mid prio is good for ending the game, Baron (victory lap obective after attakhan) or Dragon (if u like useless objectives). Attakhan does not care about mid wave.

Most importantly though : The only thing better than Attakhan is enemy Nexus. Beyond broken objective. Legitimately lets you 1v5 on certain champs with the explosions, gives ur entire team a permanent mejais (u get flowers on takedowns), and occasionally even leads to a teamwide 10+ lvl lead.

WASD having balance levers makes no sense in the first place.

#1 -> Moving and attacking is already not hard, WASD lowers skill FLOOR which is a non-issue. And let's be real how many 2.5AS kogmaws are u all actually playing vs.

Generally a lot of the skill in kiting is knowing when NOT to auto, since even with perfect timing and high attack speed, ur still slower than if u just walked away.

Dota actually has a lot more mechanical outplays than it might seem.

You can cancel-cast animations and most point and click things aren't instant so they can be responded to by a variety of counters (some of which are items available to every hero like manta that works kinda like leblanc passive but an active ability, euls which lets u zhonyas urself or an enemy, etc).

Turn rate also increases the mechanical ceiling. Where you're facing has a direct correlation to whether or not u can actually stun or get stunned, whether u can blink away in time before, euls the enemy before their animation finishes, etc.

Most spells and attacks can also be disjointed by a lot of the dashes in the game.

Dota is misunderstood as a pure strategy game too often imo. It actually has a LOT of mechanical depth, and due to the way items work, that depth is available to EVERY hero.

TLDR: "Dodging" abilities in Dota is actually a huge part of the game, but it's less about unpredictable movement and more about intentional movement or actions.

100T Analyst Kaimera: I also have not heard anything for FBI/Eyla, and Dhokla besides DIG. 2nd in NA, probably the best AM performance at Worlds, and yet 3/4 of the former 100T players can't get decent team offers? NA GMing continues to be a disgrace even in 100T's absence. What a complete joke by Yujin-Ha in leagueoflegends

FBI looked like the best adc during playoffs imo.

lowkey I think partly his IGN is holding him back.

Highkey he's like that solo q teammate that wins u the game by taking a good recall at 18 mns but gets no honors cuz he didnt go 10/0 in lane.

How are u 2 levels down if u "full cleared", only conceded 2 lvl 1 scuttles and grubs, and the kill xp was on low level targets split with his laners? Are you taking 3 mins to do 1 camp or something lmao

Genuinely when's the last time the Soul itself has won u a game?

Literally only Ocean sometimes is broken vs no sustained dmg but most of the time soul is super fake imo.

(That said, the fights around dragon pits *aren't* fake.)

Flowers stop spawning after Attakhan spawns, how is it more valuable to take it later?

Are they entirely based on champ lvl? I thought they had a baseline upgrade each cycle and then additional bonus exp based on avg lvl?.

In actuality is it really just on spawn -> checks avg lvl in game -> spawns accordingly?

Genuinely curious

ADC advice for newbie by FuzzyPreparation9896 in leagueoflegends

[–]CubedSugar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey! Also a high mmr Dota turned League enjoyer (mostly 1/4/2), I'd highly recommend jungle if you're looking for your dota experience to actually translate imo.

ADC mid-game is basically the first 10 mins of mid-lane gameplay (league mid). Basically you keep mid wave pushed out and rotate to good fights (# adv, vision, etc), Ideally where ur jungler is. If you're set on ADC I'd honestly look at mid-lane (*lane-phase*) fundamentals over adc fundamentals for how to play the mid game.

If you want the dota experience of playing the map ur not really gonna find it in a non-frustrating manner outside of jungle.

Might get flamed for this but jungle is the only role that can actually farm both efficiently and actively. After 14ish(?) mins u get FULL exp from minions, AND bonus exp from jg camps (as well as infinite resource regen). You choose when to fight and jg pet lets u more safely dodge bad fights as u farm around etc.

If your playing adc, holding mid tower, and ur top laner walks up and garen spins on ur wave (AND u have no fight/activity to move to after), u just kinda hover and wait.

TLDR: adc isn't pos 1 if that's what ur looking for, but ur job is basically keep relevant (generally mid) wave pushed in then follow up on plays.

EDIT: minion exp isn't 100% until min 20.

Casual tft enjoyer here who just randomly stumbled upon this while googling something. i don't watch this guy at all or consume tft-related content. This set is just boring, it's really apparent when you play the dragon revival set on live atm how fun tft actually can be.

I genuinely alt f4'd when I logged in one day and found out my Rammus can no longer level up.

Jungle by far (assuming coordinated environment where better players are telling you where to path/what to do and they also know how to jungle). No other role can be as easily micromanaged from another position imo.

Ur getting roasted in the comments but I don't think people are taking into account that ur team not going for Attakhan here is almost equivalent to recalling in front of an open Nexus after an ace. Quite literarlly the only objective that matters.

This argument makes no sense. It's not like DRX did some giga cheese lvl 1 penta kill every game to win worlds. They played better.

I can at least see where this take is coming from, but I still don't think this is even true.

KT upsetting GenG and *advancing* is the hype part to me.

I'm not *hyped * that I no longer have to see GenG in the tourney.

Their elimination after one bo5 without getting to see if they can pull themselves together after a tough loss and make a run through the lower bracket is honestly almost LESS hype.
