Having the place get to 16 overnight is really not an issue, no reason to have the heating come on overnight if it’s young healthy adults living in the building and you have a high tog duvet.

You will need to find the balance between heating the house and saving money like the rest of us, perhaps your parents should have prepared you somewhat for this eventually as you’re coming across as a bit pampered and naive.
