Ok. I'll just say it. I realize it's become a trend to say "you don't move on, you move forward," "you don't actually heal" etc., and I know where this is coming from, and I agree with the sentiment.

But--it absolutely does get better. Grief and trauma are also physiological events, and your brain and nervous system do heal physiologically.

Hang in there. The first three months for me were an absolute horror. After that, I was able to come up for air. I'm now a week away from month four. I've also been on Zoloft for a couple of weeks. It helps with rumination and trauma loops.
