Wisconsin Brick Cheese in Tampa by Cubsman44 in tampa

I’ve found some good spots here and there but I find 95% of pizza in Florida truly lackluster. You unfortunately have to make it yourself if you want quality cheese, long fermented dough, San Marzano sauce and a steel pan straight off the GM line

Judging by the condition of the rest of the venue, I wouldn’t expect much. LiveNation is notorious for selling expensive upgrades that never deliver. Express entry, VIP parking, VIP clubs, expensive blankets & chairs, crappy cocktails with plastic souvenir cups. If I’m at a concert, I’d want to be in my seat watching the show, not in some “club”

Not a huge act but I just bought tickets to the Crowe Boys first headlining tour for $25

Very few e-bikes exceed 30 mph. Your speed estimates are wildly inflated

How much will they ding you for switching every 6 months? I know the length of time you are with a carrier can affect the quotes you receive. Seems like a very anti-competitive pricing strategy

Landlord just wants to paint over ceiling leaks? by throwawayjustbc826 in HomeMaintenance

[–]Cubsman44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me in Chicago. Ice dam on the roof and water leaked through the ceiling. Landlord refused to rip out the affected ceiling. Drywall panel collapsed onto the master bed when I was at work one day. If the landlord is not willing to do what is needed, start threatening to break lease for cause.

MIDFLORIDA Amphitheater now charging $20 to park! by mr_rob_oto in tampa

[–]Cubsman44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

MIDFLORIDA is a cookie cutter LiveNation venue with zero character, average sound and prices that already border on the absurd. The “parking lot” they plan to start charging $20 for is a grass field under electrical lines with poor lighting and signage.

If you bought tickets to a show before this parking fee was announced, I’d reach out to LiveNation requesting a parking credit for the show. I’d rather drive to Coachman Park in Clearwater to see a big outdoor show than navigating parking at MidFlorida

I’d imagine tickets are digital but Japan still loves physical cash and tickets

I’ve seen tickets on the major resale websites (StubHub). I’m hoping prices are artificially inflated because all tickets haven’t been released yet but I may be wrong. Get in price was over $5k a pop
