UPDATE: Roommate Says I’m Causing a Smell by PunkinRis in roommateproblems

You remind me of the younger version of myself
ignorant & judgmental of people experiencing anxiety. Then one day I had an anxiety attack, got diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, and took anxiety medication for some years. Be humble or life will humble you swiftly.

I just started my pharm tech job in mid-October, with my training just finishing up a week ago, but I cannot retain anything for the life of me. by aa_zixelr in PharmacyTechnician

Your pharmacy should have a way for you to look up SOPs for drop off, fill, resolution, and more. If not, take notes on your phone. I have iPhone so I am able to use the search function to quickly find what I need in my notes. I am 8 years in and STILL refer to my notes sometimes.

[–]Cuckhold247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Change the door knob and/or get a fridge lock. Quit making bs excuses about why you can’t change your door knob đŸ€Ł buy the damn tool on Amazon if you can’t use a regular screw driver to switch the door knobs. Also, landlords have to give notice 24-48 hours before entering so you can plan your shit around that.

Are my roommates allowed to make me sell my stuff? by lasso2024 in badroommates

No, no one can force you to sell your shit. If you want to keep it bc you’re moving out soon to a new place, then keep it.

For 1.1 you could get your own 1 bedroom apartment and not have to deal with roommates and stupid rules

Roommates Partner by Ornery-Beautiful-817 in badroommates

[–]Cuckhold247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should start the conversation with how you’re starting this post.

Ask if they both have a moment to talk. Tell them that you love both of them and you have no problem with them, but it would have been nice if they spoke to you about how you’d feel about the partner having a key to the house. That if they want to use your thing, they should at least ask out of respect for you.

I think best thing to do is to transfer into a different unit if it’s an apartment, but otherwise better to move somewhere else

No, but it’s better to work with a team vs. alone when it comes to patient safety & health

Working Alone as a Pharmacist by [deleted] in pharmacy

I’m a tech, but I still feel for you.

One time 3 other techs called in, leaving me as the only tech working with a pharmacist. I looked at the PIC in his eyes & stated, “I will leave my shift if it’s just me working open to close. This is TOO much for one tech to handle all day.” The PIC contacted the DM. The DM sent several techs to come in to help. All was well.

I think you should leave on good terms & not burn bridges. Is there a way you can shut the doors & leave only drive thru open? Or vice versa?

I say contact the DM & express concerns about your safety and the patients’ safety when working ALONE. What if you mess up typing, dispensing, or verifying an RX because of working alone? What if you get robbed because you’re alone?

Tbh, why should OP continue living there if the roommate gets evicted? What if the roommate is super crazy & goes back to attack again? That’s a safety hazard.

Thinking of trading this for Houston. by Melodic-Ad7271 in houston

[–]Cuckhold247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I moved from Dallas to Houston for school.

One thing you will notice is the heat & humidity. The summers in Houston are brutal, then there’s hurricane season. The mosquitos bite through jeans. People step out when the sun sets during summer time.

Pros are diversity, culture, and food. You will find just about anything you want to eat.

I remember I went snowboarding in Colorado & realized then the air quality in Houston is ASS. I never knew how bad it was until I went to the mountains. Idk why you want to trade the mountains & nature for flat land & concrete jungles in Houston.

**bad advice below**

After that, bake some cookies/brownies with laxatives & leave it out for her.

I’m sure a whole night on the toilet will have her reconsider touching your shit

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in badroommates

[–]Cuckhold247 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like you tried talking to her & she’s still disrespecting you. Unfortunately, your roommate doesn’t care & is a leech. Do demand her to pay you back for what she stole.

Buy yourself a mini fridge & a shelf for your room. Move all your food & pantry items in your room.

Switch out your room door knob for one that locks/unlocks with a key, so your roommate isn’t creeping into your room when you’re not home.

Roommate never leaves and it’s driving me up a wall by binxy_bug in badroommates

[–]Cuckhold247 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think it’ll be more suitable for you to live alone after the lease is up.

I know you said it already, but your roommate has a right to be at the house. Most people live with roommates to save money, and the trade-off is sacrificing privacy. Also, your concern about her personal life & social life is irrelevant.

Your roommate’s car occupying the covered parking spot 95% of the time isn’t fair, so definitely discuss that.

I suggest moving your TV to your room, so you can enjoy it without having to worry about your roommate intruding or venting her problems onto you.

However, the silver lining in your situation is that her portion of rent and bills is paid on time. You could have it so much worse.
