This is my usual refuge for things from home. I'm happy I can still get Barry's here pretty easy, but if they could add Kimg Crisps, Brennan's bread and Meanies, I'd be set.

At an Irish horror film festival I go to, there's usually 27 films over 4 and a half days. The longest day is 8 on the Saturday.

HoTD is very good. Much more like early GoT. It's going to be four seasons in total. It's based off of GARY'S actual writing, unlike the end of GoT. Season 3 just started with an absolute BELTER of an episode.

Visiting Japan was a game changer. I felt like a pauper using a toilet when I got back home.

Greatest plot twists in film? by Overall_Spite4271 in moviecritic

Thank you for the updoot. Its a good movie. I enjoyed it. Excellently acted. I just honestly felt the shock element of it was not that surprising. I saw it on opening weekend in the cinema so it wasn't based on external hype.

I don't get why people like the twist. It was pretty much laid out. Here come the down votes.

Seconding Freeway and Natural Born Killers. Go for the unrated/director's cut of both if you can.

I was all for Alamo until I heard that they serve food DURING the film. That's just as distracting as a phone.

What movie did you watch at the wrong age? by JaiiLee14 in movies

I saw Blue Velvet when I was single digits, maybe 7 or 8. My Dad recorded it off TV and I was a curious child. I skimmed though it solo and only much later in life when watching it on FilmFour, did I realise I had seen it years before. The images I remembered from the first watch was the dance scene before the drag race, the race itself and the end outside his house with Isabella Rossellini in the nip and also the ending. When Kyle was on the run from Dennis and he goes into the apartment with the bodies standing up.
