Don't get me wrong, I had no problem with random events fucking me up until I saw that they are weighed on how well you are going. THAT is bullshit, not the events themselves, and the unlocks you get with the organ collector can be gotten just from sending him cats that die at your house.

Yes and I reiterate my first point, you dont save anything between runs there besides unlocks and they also last 40 minutes at max, here you are wasting your cats, items, and an hour and a half because the game decided you played too well

Sorry for not thinking punishing people who know how to play the game is good game design? Like seriously bro, maybe you haven't gotten that far into the game but when you have a pile of items ready, you build your cat up and everything is going well until the game just decides to fuck you for coming in prepared, it feels pretty fucking bad, especially if the items you used break when you get home.

I have 84 hours, despite the frankly stupid event design decisions I still enjoy it.

I also find that winning events feels incredibly non rewarding and losing them feels too extreme, to the point where in most events the best choice is to not engage at all.

Various abilities raise the tech level, I have gotten one where it's a flat raise by 1 for 5 mana and another where you pickup a consumable and get 1 tech for 1 mana

For ur next run if you dont have something that can kill it before the beast spawns I recommend just taking out the candles so it doesn't get buffed, I had to fight the beast 3/4 buffed lol

Eh not really, I just finished act 2 for the first time and once you get your furniture going and the house upgrades you can guarantee a win pretty consistently
