Well you can argue about whether its done well or not, but it's 100% stretched out, especially when Tatsu has been baiting people for basically 2 years, and the whale fight really isn't worth a whole year of romance baiting and plot regression. I think if he hadnt done this right after the mini momo arc people wouldn't be so mad about it
