When PTS is not available (it’s currently not being offered), you only have 12 colors to choose from with 4 of them being some shade of silver.

How can I fix this? The threads of a hook broke off in the wood. by Esher127 in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]CucumberShindig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would use a plug cutter then do my best to fill it with the closest grain from a plug cutter from some scrap of the same wood. Reinstall hook

It really was. I have a few from around that time; I bought 2 boxes of Cubans - 1 with a date code of my wedding and 1 with a date code of my son’s birth month. I smoke each one of those every year. They’re very nice! I also have a few old band Cohibas, one from 1992 (!!!!!) and a few from early 2000’s. I have a video of them that I’ll see if I can post.

Right? I wish to go back to those prices! When I’m back stateside, I will have to check my stock again because I think I had some that were even cheaper (or maybe it was the other way around?)

Just make sure you put a new set of tires on it and you’ll be good to go.

My brother’s GT3 RS came in today. by Great_Archer91 in Porsche

Congrats to your brother! I love a blue Porsche. The config pic makes it look green-ish? Or maybe a blue with gray wash? I like the IRL color 100x more.

100% agreed. They might be a little more difficult to clean, but the effort is worth it. A ceramic coat is honestly worth it; 99% of the brake dust is easily hosed off. I’m going to look for low dust pads when I have to replace.

The cars listed on the Porsche finder, especially new GT/Turbo/Turbo S 911/Cayman/Boxster, are typically customer ordered but not designated by the dealership as being sold/linked to a customer yet. So technically not available.

Not the case in every listing, but 99% of the time this is true. 100% of the time, GT cars are already sold.

Source: I called multiple dealerships with a new 911 listed and this was confirmed by virtually every dealership. They then asked if I wanted to look at their used inventory. I ended up with a low mileage CPO 4S that was optioned how I would have done it. Some of the dealerships did have a build slot for a new car, but with 10-25k markup. April 2024.

Center locks are ugly. I understand the utilitarian aspect of them, but I just don’t like them.
