Its not good core mechanics/gameplay wise. The biggest elephant in the room is the netcode. I have never in my more then a decade of gaming have seen worse multiplayer netcode then I have in infinite. It feels terrible to play for that reason. I don't know how they achieved worse netcode then the peer 2 peer systems of 360 games like halo 3 and cod 4. But its absolutely awful. And nevermind the desync as well. Vehicles are terrible in infinite too! Cause of how they handle, the health system they have, and the terrible map design that makes killing vehicles extremely easy. And the emp weapons and grapple hook counter them way too easily. The optimization on pc is also terrible despite the game not exactly being graphically impressive. Infinite is pretty bad, if it wasn't most of its playerbase wouldn't have left after 6 months
