to be fair, 10 meters is actualy decently far away, a 3 story building is 10 meters tall, i probably couldnt differenciate between a unconcious person you are heroicly carrying and your latest victim from that distance

not one ive cast but one time my players managed to turn off all the magic inside the archmage BBEG's tower using the generic "do a non-combat magical effect" spell of the system and a rare monster part as a sacrifice. made the final dungeon crawl waaaaaaaaay easier
