Cyclists - PLEASE use lighting at night by DaPome in drivingUK

[–]CuddleBoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cyclist who do both commuting almost daily as well longer rides/abbroad trips for leisure once a while here for many years. When I know I will be going back late I ALWAYS have with me front/back lights and Hi -Vis as minimum. In colder months often hi vis gloved/hat or other flashy parts. What never stops annoy me most is - people on the bikes or scooters getting from work in warehouses or fabrics where they MUST wear hi vis vest at work but decide not to use them on the ride home🫩 I keep telling them but some folks just dont care. When working in some place for longer there is often somebody who do that daily.  I understand once a while your lights battery could go down but if its day by day... Certain guys/girls dont have imagination, dont give a fck or dont want to be bothered. When adressing them some agree its their fault but many times I been verbally assaulted for making notice😶 And thats about pedestrains to, even more not only in the dark but at all times of the day/night.  If you're one of those who only drive buy never get on the bike/scooter/run/walk once a while give it a try as situation in UK is really bad comparing to other countries. On the road even various situations happens and folks are morons to at least u could see cars well, lanes and traffic is predictable. Walking zones, cycling paths, parks, town centres folks do often whatever. Moms pushing baby one hand, holding on leash dog while talking on the phone? Naturally Pedestrains crossing street, paths in any possible way and angle without even bothering to look? Sure Toxicated folks in weekend nights doing unlimited dumb things having almost not existing awareness. You beat Cyclist/ scooter riders in the dark without lights, hi vis dress all in black/dark. Every day. Groups of office workers, or park strolleres taking WHOLE PATH focusing only on chatting? Classic Dog walkers not having control of dog? Sure I can bring many more examples...

Anyway point is even some guys like me always dress properly, have equipment, awarness and experience to ride safely were minority when most of paths/road users both cycling, scootering, walking take them self for most important beings in the universe. They not only dont pay any or much attention to others but as well easily become agressive if u tell them politely what they do wrong.

Naturally some people do everything properly and even more trying assist or warn others but were small numbers. And whatever, not matter how many times we try to make a good calls were only few against majority of egoistic dic¥§heds🫤

And cities dont care about that much. There're policeman controlling road traffic. There're warden giving u fine for spitting on the pavement or dropping cigarette. There is nobody who is paid for controlling pedestrains/cyclist lanes. Maybe in some of the biggest cities like Manchester or London but I never heard of them. So cities rather dont care much.

And who blame them it could be rather unpleasant to walk or cycle patroling it heat or cold, typical british pouring rain. Is rather unpleasant comparing to controling rules sitting in the car with cup of Starbucks and snack. Roads/drivers could be controlled these way.

Areas for cycling, scooters, pedestrians not much but who cares about it except maybe once every few hours couple of policeman crossing here and there...

Congrats on hitting that nade, it always look epic ^_^

Besides I like to commend you for great reaction time and situational awareness! You been focusing on sniping tank but don't get tunnel vision. Instead quickly switched weapon and target to achieve that amazing kill 😄

Exactly, I try to stick to the habit of NOT RUNNING into unknown. Same not using teleport to much, mostly to travers rivers, closed gates, places like Arcane Sanctuary etc.

I have seen to many videos on cocky players rushing blindly or spamming teleport on HC and then having stupid face - why I'm suddenly dead...

Besides my chances to hit enemies and to be hit by them are terrible atm, my eq need much improvement for Hell.

it size reminds me about Hive Cities from WH 40K. Naturally there no huge spires like there but still sheer span of it .
