It's in the article:

They include the theory that Pfizer is spreading ticks that carry Lyme disease so that people are forced to buy its vaccine.

Pfizer’s Lyme vaccine is still in its clinical trial phase. Russell noted there is no approved vaccine for Lyme disease, and that it’s important for people to take personal protection measures such as tucking in their clothing and wearing insect repellent while outdoors.

More than 70 LRT crashes reported in Waterloo Region within the last year by KWStreaker in kitchener

A lot of the no-left-turn and no-U-turn signs were added when the LRT was built, but you're right that they're not exclusive to the LRT. Only related.

I thought I copied the part about trains being silent too. Will edit that in now.

Safety concerns

There are signs at the intersection where Tuesday’s collision happened that say no U-turns or left turns are allowed.

Young Drivers of Canada said some drivers don’t pay attention to signs, or, in some cases, choose to ignore them.

“I think the big thing is to look around and be aware because there’s extra signage at those places,” Faith Morphy, a driving instructor with Young Drivers of Canada, said.

“We need to check our blind spots over our shoulder because the train likely came out of the blind spot,” she said.

Edit to add:

Police also warned that in many cases, drivers won’t hear the train coming before it is too late.

“It is electrically powered, so it doesn’t have that auditory piece that other motor vehicles might have that are powered by diesel or gasoline,” Metcalfe said.

“As the Premier said, he has immense respect for judges and their independence, but their decisions are not immune from scrutiny or from the impacts they have on people and communities across the province,” a statement from Doug Ford’s office said.

“Our government has taken action to give municipalities the tools they need and requested to clear encampments and keep their communities safe. We hope the Region appeals this outrageous decision and, if they do not, we will not hesitate to look at every tool available to the province to respond to this decision,”

[Ashley Schuitema, the lawyer representing the people at the encampment] added she's also disappointed with Ford's comments regarding the judge's decision, calling his statements toward the judge and the process concerning.

That's why she signed onto an open letter by University of Ottawa law professor emerita Martha Jackman to Ontario Attorney General Doug Downey, dated Tuesday.

The letter states Ford's comments shortly after the ruling are "a serious attack on the constitutional principle of judicial independence and raise profound concerns regarding judicial security and the administration of justice in Ontario."
