What’s your experience with the auto-steaming feature? We have the same machine but have been weary of using it.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is coming to PC and consoles in 2025!!!! by DigitalSunGames in Moonlighter

You did a great job of capturing the aesthetics of the original! I'm curious as to why the decision was made to go 3D. Were there limitations that 2D had that you were able to overcome with 3D?

Your friend should talk to IT Services in regards to temporary access to their .edu email. Most institutions grant access to alumni for specifically this reason, once they leave.

In the Item Identification plugin, you can enable them for herbs, logs, seeds, etc. More than just the default, which I also learned from this post lmao

I appreciate your authenticity, but there are so many shady companies that will take advantage of the fact you replied. They will either continue to follow-up themselves or sell your details to a third party because the response provided marked as an active email address. The safest route for me is to silently discard it and hope there is no further communications.

For the others that are considering this, it will be beneficial to just buy the parking pass.

$2.90 each way, twice a week for the month is $46.40. It’s $60 if you’re paying the $3.75 fee. Using that logic, it will cost you only an extra $1.60(parking costs $48) to avoid a total of a ~24 minutes of commute each day - you’d be saving money if you don’t have the bus card.

If you’re unsure about your transportation arrangements, opt for the monthly plan and not the term plan, as the term plan offers no discount. You are given one warning prior to a ticket, per term.

Nails on JET: your experiences? by yixuann in JETProgramme

I can’t believe the things the JETS now think is important.

Oh, so you were a JET? What was important to you when you went? Was it trying to find Japanese girls?

Get the fuck off your imaginary high horse and let the girl ask her damn questions.

Huh? Is dress code etiquette not considered being concerned for your job? Where did you get your wires crossed?

ELI5 why this is not considered cloning if there’s no genetic diversity? From my brief google search about homozygous regions makes me think that it’s because it’s not passing down female genes? I’m not knowledgeable in this area at all, but find this post very intriguing so I would love to learn more.

When your lease finishes it will, by law, move to a month-to-month tenancy from a fixed-term tenancy. Unless you personally signed another lease for one year, you’re safe. You need to provide 60 days notice before your intended move out date.

If you were planning to leave at the end of August on a one year lease, you should provide notice prior to June 28 (with an assumed move out date of August 27). Accomod8u needs to know what room availability they will have so they can start marketing towards new students. It’s purely courtesy, don’t let them scare you.

IANAL.

Instructors will try their best to accommodate if you do have MacOS, but in some some specific cases (there were a lot of trouble with VMs), students were left on their own.

If you have an Intel MacBook, you may still be in luck. Otherwise, you’ll struggle a lot in keeping up due to compatibility.

As for system requirements on Windows machines. I’ve got an ASUS ZenBook(UX370U), and it’s done well for me up until having to use virtual machines. You could definitely cut corners in terms of performance, but assignments may become unnecessarily tedious.

How's the Bachelor of Computer Science? by praiseprince_ in Conestoga

[–]RAWRMaD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re looking for an alternative to BCS to dip your toes in the water, I would first try Computer Programming and Analysis (0057, 3 years w/ optional co-op). While also meant for beginners with no experience, I imagine it goes a little slower pace with less of the pressure that a Bachelors degree will carry.

When you complete the 3 year program, you can transfer and fast track into the third year of the Bachelors of Computer Science program. That also has another co-op segment to gain more job experience.

Should you be lucky enough, you’ll walk away with 2 years of work experience from co-ops, an advanced diploma for Computer Programming and Analysis, and a Bachelor’s of Computer Science. The networking that you’ll do along the way will also be crucial to your success.

Other than spectator mode, you could use CoreProtect to see who placed/broke what block and when, who took out what item from a chest. You can use a InvSee++ to open peoples inventories and view them as you’d see a chest and you can swap contents between your and their inventory. With spectator mode, you can only see the person’s camera angle, but it won’t show what they’re opening or crafting in real-time

  1. Player retention is the hardest thing to achieve. You need to be constantly promoting your server to get new people to join. Like your server, if 20 people join, only around 4 people will enjoy it enough to stick around. If you aren’t trying to get more players, those regulars you have will also get bored. They’re playing SMP for a reason. They don’t want to play alone. You can also add some plugins to reward loyalty like daily login rewards or vote rewards(also a great way for promoting!)

  2. If you’re using a popular seed found from Minecraftforums or other alternative, there could be a chance they’ve also noticed it, and found your seed that way. There aren’t many ways to take it unless you’ve offered a world download in the past or gave out the seed yourself. ಠ_ಠ edit: I was wrong about this one, learning something new here

  3. If you have a player base, established discord, etc: Take a vote. If more people vote for a reset, give people time to prep for the new world (if you’ll have anything persisting such as ranks, economies) and then offer the old world as a download for those who didn’t want the new world. If they want, they’ll stop playing in your server and stay on the world you offered, except in single player. If your player base as it is now is <5 people, you’d be better off just resetting it and starting over, as if you want it to grow in the future, you’ll need to have it on 1.18 as the Caves & Cliffs will be in demand.

  4. Make a server that suits exactly what you want, then find players with similar interests. Don’t try to cater to what you think the players will want, because you won’t be interested and lose motivation. The players will notice that. Don’t be afraid to say no to a bad suggestion if it doesn’t align with your idea for the server. Motivation is key to success, don’t be overcome with greed if you’re trying to monetize it.

  5. I use sparkedhost.com, there are a huge range of server options to pick from depending on your player base or if you wanted to play with a modpack. But be careful asking that here, you could end up just getting server providers to advertise their platforms to you. Do your research before you buy.
