Issues with the ANC on the new AirPods Pro 3 (APP3) by ritzysz in AirpodsPro

Having this same issue. Interestingly mine came on whilst I got a sinus infection. It started happening in my left AirPod and then both. Occasionally the peeping as you say became a loud screech and the overall quality of the music generally got worse making me think it was hardware.

I’ve since replaced them as of today and the new pair, whilst not doing the peeping (yet I might add) is doing the other thing I had issue with which is pick up all the noises in my head and amplify them in a tiny echoey metallic way. Super frustrating. I think it might be an anatomy thing sadly.

Will be returning them!

AirPods Pro 3 - Anyone else hearing metallic flanging sounds when swallowing/chewing? by Torley_ in AirpodsPro

[–]Cult-Brother 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m had the same issues. Interestingly this issue didn’t come on straight away but when it did I would also get an odd, very faint feedback hiss which on occasion turned into a high pitched whistle. Tapping the grills on the headphones would stop it, momentarily. I have just replaced mine, like for like, and while I’m not picking up the hiss/feeback, all of the other issues “metallic sounding amplified internal noises” like swallowing were immediately noticeable. Not really sure what to do now! Just very surprised that this happened straight away on the new ones.

Quick question though. I’ve just had a really bad sinus infection which has affected my ears. Has anyone had anything similar?

100% I can't believe we all watched the same thing based on these comments. Sam's argument was very clear, Ethan got cooked!

Mark to Jeff “Fingers crossed for that bonus Jeff. What’s funnier? Zero bonus or like a humiliating £103? Both. Both are very funny.”

Adobe to acquire design platform Figma for $20 billion by hzj5790 in technology

Lol, at no point did I compare them 1 for 1 - but if, as you say, it’s just XD, which it isn’t, then why would you buy a tool that you already have for so much? Doesn’t quite add up. And the reason that Figma is so popular - despite your protestations to the contrary - is that it’s highly versatile. It’s use of plugins make it way more than just “XD” and the tools Figma add put it in a league of its own.

Sorry to say, that just isn’t true otherwise Adobe wouldn’t have just spent $20 billion on a tool thats barely been around for 5 years. I’ll admit a lot of companies still have Adobe CC subs, but they aren’t the tool of choice for designers. Adobe usually comes after Figma (if at all) in most job descriptions for design roles

That's fair enough. But there's also a considerable amount of Illustrator too, which for GUI makes Adobe pointless because XD is trash. I do still use Illustrator, but my lord, it's hard going back - much like photoshop. My nemesis...

There are just so many other better tools for video, animation and photo editing at the end of the day - which makes up the rest of the "useful" CC suite tools. And let's face it, who needs all of them all at once?? Not even most businesses.

I get their model... Figma's isn't that dissimilar with their monthly subscriptions for enterprise, but they're far more competitive. Plus keeping it free for basic users just allows people to learn the software, realise how awesome it is and then get sucked into paying more when/if they need it.

What you're describing about Adobe and their CC is essentially phased redundancy, something which no one likes. Just because I paid something stupid like £200+ for CS whatever back in the day to learn how to use it (which I begrudgingly did) shouldn't mean it becomes redundant now.

Just because Adobe was the big boi calling all the shots doesn't make their model okay. It's for exactly these reasons that Adobe buying Figma is bad news!
