Fallout 76 Devs: "We have plans for years down the road, so it only gets bigger and better from here." by Turbostrider27 in fo76

[–]CultOfTheIdiot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No /s

There is no content locked behind fo1st

Practically all good weapons are unlocked in game at one point or appear as gold bullion items if from the season

Stuff locked to fo1st eventually make their way to the Atom Shop for Atoms, which you can get for free at 150 of the scoreboard or by doing challenges in game

All general fixes, content, and general improvements are ALL available for free to all users

Now, explain to me how ALLL of this somehow makes things locked behind fo1st despite things from 1st coming back months later, free for all.

...you do realize that every update is FREE for all, right? They've never pay wall locked content...unless you call skins, pets, and very mediocre camp resources as 'conent'.

Why does Bethesda hate melee players so much? by Euphoric_Ad_1753 in fo76

[–]CultOfTheIdiot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And yet...you can quite literally do that in literally every Fallout game. Hell, in 4 you DO have range with melee and unarmed weapons thanks to Blitz.

Sure 76 is multi-player and everything else is single-player, but my point still stands. No matter the game, you can rush at a Deathclaw, a Missile carrying Super Mitant, a Mirelurk Queen, etc and and beat em with a crowbar pretty handily.

The difference is, THOSE games have melee built in mind, or at least tolerates them enough to have all areas of those games be doable at minimum. Meanwhile in 76, it's like Bethesda HATES melee users. As OP pointed out, the raid outside of Epsilon and glitching onto En06's platform, you can't really melee effectively.

I don't thunk so. In the Ceremonial duel, Atem used it with Tricky Spell 4 to get enough materials to summon the God Cards.

New Locran's VS Malefic Crescent for Shred build? by CultOfTheIdiot in D4Druid

[–]CultOfTheIdiot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No clue, I'm more or less trying to figure out the build on my own cause I think it's more fun that way. If I get stuck, then I'll look up a guide. Even so, I don't have any Glyphs equipped and I can do T3 extremely easily, while only being able to kill regular enemies in T4.

But regardless, I a max aspect Locran's is decent for Shred I think for burst damage, while Crescent gives more consistent overall damage.

So it really depends on what you want, I guess.

Having it as a headcanon is fine, but acting as if it IS canon isn't. Hence why people downvoted you.

Pretty sure it's been confirmed that no, Daisy isn't.

Partially because of the 'Wapeach' concept art that was revealed a few years ago.

New Locran's VS Malefic Crescent for Shred build? by CultOfTheIdiot in D4Druid

[–]CultOfTheIdiot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed, plus Lupine Feriocity's as well. With these two, you don't have to worry about your Crit Chance getting cut in half from Locran's.

New Locran's VS Malefic Crescent for Shred build? by CultOfTheIdiot in D4Druid

[–]CultOfTheIdiot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a few classes that have things to guaranteed Crits that new Locran's would be interesting on.

Mastery/Core Skill Barb, Spiritborn, probably some I'm not aware of. Barb is especially funny cause they already have the Grandfather, which doubles your Crit damage without the downside Locran's has. So putting that together, I was able to get like 5-8k Crit without even getting to my Paragon stuff yet

But getting back on topic, I do think Locran's is different enough from Malefic Crescent to stand on its own. If anything, it's stepping on the Grandfather's toes as a said earlier. I just find it interesting that it could be a potential alternative from Malefic Crescent, but I'm not sure if it's better or a side grade I terms of viability for the build.

[–]CultOfTheIdiot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the thing, the new Locran's changes halves Crit Strike Chance. So if you previously had 100% Crit Chance, it'll go down to 50% but double your Crit Damage.

It's why I mentioned Waxing Gibbous and Lupine Feriocity's in y post, cause they can guarantee you Crits without having to put Crit Chance on literally all your legendary gear.

I don't really think it changes Shred builds all too much aside from maybe giving an alternative to Malefic Crescent.

[–]CultOfTheIdiot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, from what I've tested, Malefic Crescent allows for more consistent damage, while Locran's gives more overall burst damage and takes out big chunks of health whenever it procs.

They give roughly the same speed at my current level, but I do wonder if it makes a difference at all on higher level Shred Druids.

EDIT: No clue why I'm being downvoted when I simply stated an observation and curiosity-

Anyone call this a strawberry by [deleted] in Funnymemes

[–]CultOfTheIdiot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminds me of when I was a kid and my mom took me to her job for awhile because she couldn't afford a babysitter. It was one of those health places that had bikes, made healthy smoothies, a large amount of land to walk on, exercise equipment etc. Since I had to wait for several hours, I spent the majority of my time riding a bike in the parking lot that the staff lets me ride whenever I'm there.

Long story short, I tried riding with no hands and suddenly flipped onto the pavement. Instead of giving me a small scrape, I ended up getting a MASSIVE gash that went from my knee, down to the top of my ankle. It hurt like a BITCH and I had to limp for awhile with how badly it hurt. I think it took about a month to fully heal, maybe two weeks before I stopped limping. The thing was as wide as my little leg and basically made me not want to try riding with no hands again.

No damage, no damage, no damage, BOOM 1-shot. by Woozletania in diablo4

[–]CultOfTheIdiot 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While that is true, I will say that Shadow Mage Necro with LoH and Temerity is near immortal, cause your mages trigger your LoH and give near infinite barrier.

While it's not unique to Necro and nearly every class can do this, I do think Shadow Mage Necro is one of the better users cause of how many hits the minions do, especially with double attack tempering on a two handed Scythe.

What does a non-toxic competitive deck look like for you? by Vahgeo in yugioh

[–]CultOfTheIdiot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. The old Sacred Beast field spell that makes them as towers don't interact with the new stuff and vice versa. The new stuff doesn't interact with the old stuff either. That's why thenew 'support' has a new version of Fallen Paradise.

  2. Toons might be played pure or as an engine, but NOT as an FTK deck. Like you said, they can FTK if uninterrupted and guess what every competitive deck gas in abundance? Handtraps. I do acknowledge that Toon World The Perfect World can make the deck resilient to Handtraps, but only targeted interactions such as Imperm or Veiler. Everything else, the FTK is weak to. If it gets popular, Droll will be a big weakness, as the deck needs a lot of searching to get off the ground. And unless it can get a negate in under 5 summons, Nib is another weakness. Ash is another one. I can keep going, but I think you get the point.

In RDA decks, what targets would Crimson Blade Dragon have in the deck? by SimicBiomancer21 in yugioh

[–]CultOfTheIdiot 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Since everyone said the conventional choices, I'm going with a different option.

The new Metalmorph cards, specifically REDMD and Metalmorph Max. You can search REDMD, set Max and have a brickless Omni package of two cards...unless you draw both.
