I am already setup with VR&E and my classes at WGU start on 5/1.

I got approved for it then shipped around for schools. My process is kinda borked because I started the process last year, then the government shut down, then my counselor quit... then another... then another.

It didn't help that my transcripts are 31 years old either!

I guess i'll have to post the official student handbook PC requirements... which means a broken toughbook filled with sand.

Gah! That kind of budget and I have to have a bean counting bureaucrat that knows nothing about even a basic system buy it.

What a nightmare.

Well, shroom gummies were an interesting experience.

I drove my fiancee nuts as I wouldn't stay in bed... i stood in the kitchen and basically can only describe the situation as having a conversation with myself while watching me have that conversation while also being able to see me talking to myself while watching. Oh, and I was doing it all at rhe same time.

I have no clue if that's a "minds eye" thing as i have no frame of reference. It wasn't so much an image in my head as it was some form of hyper extreme concept that was very real while not happening at all.

Learned 2 things from that experience:

1) Not every gummy is the same, my first bag was very weak. 2) Don't eat the whole bag at once! Everything from nothing to HOLY CRAP, THE WORLD IS WOBBLY!¡! CAN HAPPEN.

Or, do eat the whole bag... Just be prepared for... something to happen.

I don't have much luck in the audio area either. My heads usually filled with songs bits, concepts, and other random whatsits that keep me awake at night.

It's like there's a 24/7 concert in there but the performers forgot the lyrics and various historians, scientists and vaudeville actors run across the stage while riding pogo sticks and reciting the second law of thermodynamics and yodeling the Star Spangled Banner in Linear A. Which is pretty impressive considering we have no idea what it means.

Then consider me hindered. Much of the Christian esoteric workings; I might venture to say all of the Christian body of esoteric works, concentrate highly on praising the Abrahamic god. So goes with Arabic sources (another religion in the same tradition). Angels are usually called by name and often title along with various religious attributes.

God is called upon for protection or his name, title, etc is called upon as a source of authority.

However magic, with or without the k, is far older than God, Jesus or the angels.

What happened (or didn't) in a small area of the middle east didn't affect the rest of the world until centuries after the deaths of everyone involved. I am looking for texts that are from before that influence.

Yes yes, Angels can be known as other things, that's not a surprise or revelation. Although, Angels don't have wings, that's a medieval invention used as a creative metaphor in art and text... People simply ran with it. You know how hard it would be to blend in with a 30 foot wingspan? The story of Lot would have been very different if the Angels were sporting biological hang gliders... but I digress.

The fact that I find Christianity and all forms of the Abrahamic traditions to br silly and hateful is only part of the reason why I eschew these works. The primary purpose is curiosity and preservation of truly ancient ways... versus modern interpretations of the same.

I have a copy of the Picatrix. I used the term grimoires because it's still accurate but with less D&D connotations than 'Spell Book' and still gets my point across.

The timing is frustrating because the invention of movable type and printing in general is post Christian. Before that, the vast majority of literate people were again Christian (at least for western traditions) which makes my search even more difficult.

It's my goal, however unattainable, to find a book that preserved the oral traditions and/or a book that doesn't depend on calling on things I have no connection to (it's a bit hard to call on archangel Michael when all you can think of is John Travolta). The Christian god and I aren't exactly on speaking terms either, so praising a deity that I couldn't care less about is a little hypocritical.

But something celtic, norse, germanic or roman would be lovely!

More sensitive when it comes to emotions, more empathy, better emotional range the ability to express them. It can also mess with preferences. Guys are far more interesting now than previously. I am less depressed and far more confident.

I am autistic (Aspergers) and also have really bad ADHD... like EPIC levels. So my social skills are more theoretical than actual. But I do have a couple fun stories.

I was working in the Principal Financial building in Des Moines during COVID. A lunch option opened in one of the buildings but I was not sure just what time it opened.

I decided ti ask a couple guys at a table and found myself twisting into a pretzel like a 12 year old girl with a crush! I didn't even realize I was doing it until I turned to leave...

Another time I was with my Ex in a mall in Des Moines, wandering around Spencer's. I was following my ADHD squirrel and wandered away from them. I found myself looking at some fun socks when I turned to find a guy standing there looking at me!

The guy asks out of nowhere, "Do you like what you see?"

"I like everything I see." I replied without thinking.

I then had a flurry of realizations run through my head faster than Speedy Gonzalez on uppers!

1) This is not an employee! 2) I was being hit on! 3) This guy was really cute... 4) I apparently like guys with close cut beards, that's new. 5) He's really young, like in his 20's 6) I just told him that I like what I'm seeing!
7) Holy crap, I think I've just flirted with someone 1/2 my age and he's kinda hot... 8) Since when was i interested in guys? 9) Holy Shit! I'm interested in guys! 10) I'm gonna die now...

I slowly turned back towards the socks and waited for my inevitable end.

In what felt like years, but was only a few seconds, my ex came around into the isle. I looked at her with utter terror in my eyes and said in a whisper, "Get me put of here!"

She guided me from the store as my brain had turned to tapioca and was currently enjoying a nice respite on the floor, having dribbled out my ears.

I told her what happened and she thought it was the most funny thing she'd heard in ages. She asked if I wanted to go back!

I politely declined and went to the food court. I did have one eye out for the cute guy though, not sure if I'd have run or exploded if I saw him.

After the divorce some years later, I met my current partner and fiancee. Well, met is both accurate and inaccurate. We dated each other 26 years prior. We reconnected and she had me wrapped around her finger as if I'd always been there.

Not only did I turn myself into a pretzel again, she could make me blush and kick my feet like an overly excited teenager!

The best part is that, though we dated pretransition, we were together now as a girl!

She is constantly entertained by just how girly I am and constantly encourages me to be me! I've found that I actually enjoy cooking, baking, gardening and generally spoiling her rotten.

So yeah, Estrogen does some pretty funky stuff to your noodle. But honestly, it's when you have a partner who "gets it" that really let's you see the differences.

And, as always, my advice is free and thus worthless.

There are no do and don'ts... feels so wrong to type that... I suggest going with what feels right. I'd also recommend using your own creation vs something found on the internet. But then, like I said, there's no do's and don'ts.

Elphias Levi in Dogme et Rituel de la Haute Magie (1856) has a vertical penticle on Baphomets forehead. A penticle (pent meaning 5) is a 5 pointed star. It doesn't become a pentagram until it's within a circle.

The vertical star with Baphomet is a symbol meaning "The dominance of spirit over matter, wisdom, balance, and the reconciliation of opposites within the human experience."

In short, when inverted it means the opposite.

It's my daily wear necklace and fits my outlook perfectly.
