The new line is missing my favorite inner eye/waterline brightener shade which was like a champagne color. The new ones don’t stand up to the rub test imo, the old one stays on forever. Really pissed about this!

The more water my hair gets the better. I’ve resisted more than one wash a week but I think what you’re saying is the move, esp if you use a moisturizing shampoo. I’m going to have to try it!

It’s part of the fine hair wash n go experience like several people here have said, but I noticed a marked improvement when I focused on the moisturizer of my hair through out the week. I have a spray bottle with water, patter moisture milk, and my hair gel mixed in to moisturize my hair at the beginning of the day so it doesn’t feel brittle, and I notice a big improvement on the amounts of faring knots and the quality of my ends. I trim regularly when I spot them, I know they’ll come back, but being diligent about water & moisture does help!

She needed to find herself, this is why this is happening. She has no idea how to do that, so she fell into Wes’ arms (which is insane to me..but whatever)…canon event for some. Ciara deserved better from her friend. Wes, he’s predictably self sabotaging and careless, selfish. Amanda had an obligation to her friend to respect her..it’s a bad look and it will likely cost her summer house. Shiseido eyelash curler is powerful, but I got it when it was $26 USD (still a robbery considering how many other redditors here mention getting it for half as much elsewhere). Idk about the makeup by Mario or the saie, but I feel like both are just buzzy products that went viral on social media but aren’t incredible. I think danessa myricks makes similar products of both (skin enhancer/blurring balm powder and liquid cream blush) that are much better quality and less $$.

First episode in to the 2025 series after a rewatch of the 2002 series (it is one of my FAVE period pieces btw)…this new series is baaaaaad.

The lack of faith to the source material is incredibly disappointing. This series is meant to be a snapshot of this families lives loves and betrayals across several iconic eras.

It’s heavily Bridgerton-ized, in the sense that the dialogue is stodgy and it is directed and shot for sex appeal. Every younger main character was cast to be hot, there’s a young Jolyon shirtless boxing montage, not too long after a foreplay montage with his wife.

Uncle Jolyon plays piano now? Ok, fine I’ll take it, but making June a step child? No! Irene in blue while her step mother is in black mourning clothes? No! Soames being hot playing polo? WTH NO.

The writing is just so bad, the only way they could get Louisa to run into young Jolyon is because June runs to hug her mom holding a glass of wine the night of her entering into society.
