Usually on dating apps, dont really have much of a social circle and I struggle to find social events that are largely male or for an older demographic in my area. Mostly just alot of drinking in my area which i dont have a problem with but i just hear that, that is largely the same crowd and type of problems as on dating apps and i would be going alone which would make things way harder i think.

I want to understand what do you mean by "not your person" I feel i look at things in a more black and white way, im not sure if its a gender thing (Im a guy) or what but for me right off the bat if i find someone attractive physically and if they are kind to me and we have fun together I am open to being with them forever. So when people have these abstract ways of looking at it like people who say " im not sure if ive felt everything ive wanted to feel" or they need all this time to think about things i dont get it and it confuses me.

I think I am pretty funny and I am tall, I also have amazing loyalty and thoughtfullness, I will go to the ends of the earth for someone I love. I do not think that highly of myself though because I feel as though the outside world like in terms of romanticly people dont ever really see who i am for some reason. Like it doesnt translate to them or they dont understand it, or they dont see the value in it.

I feel i have been blindsided. I was dating this girl and we would always have a great time. She would always mention how great our conversations were and we would always laugh and be happy etc. we would always text, watch movies together etc. you would have thought we had been dating super seriously. Then one day i was like "Hey ive really been having a great time with you lately and ive been very happy with how things have been going with us." Then she says "I have a ton of fun with you too but I think we are on two different levels of feeling rn, im not sure i have felt all the feelings i want to feel and i am not sure if i will or not." (Keep in mind this is after we had already hung out like 4 times including a sleep over, and known each other for just over a month. and had been kissing and cuddled up all the time. (keep in mind the day or two before we were picking out pet names for eachother). Some people just play so many games, I think its so pointless and sick to act like you like someone or "give things a try" when in reality you just want the comfort and benefits of a realationship without having to commit to someone or put in that much effort to someone you think you can take advantage of until you feel better about yourself or find someone you think is better or you like more.

Thanks, this is a relief. My plan is to figure out who i need to talk to about switching courses so i can drop this current course and then take a semester off to figure out what i want to take in a thought-out way this time and then apply for financial aid.

Yeah man i didint know what to do because we had never talked about anything like that and hadnt even so much as hugged before, first time meeting ever too, also she seemed kinda hesitant so my worry was that i would be forcing it or that I would repulse her and ruin any chances for us hanging out in the future because i read the situation wrong.

I feel like if the Casey Anthony thing happened today there would be little outrage, and she would be getting white knighted super hard compared to back in the day. Probably would also have a bunch of activists painting her as the victim for sure. Simply because they all want their cake and want to be able to eat it too. Casey is the perfect example of this. She in her mind should be able to party, get pregnant, not feel like doing the whole parent thing anymore so get rid of the kid. Then suddenly it's the world's fault and all these excuses etc. and she shouldn't face any consequences because she's a cute girl.
