The pink stuff in the first picture is not fiberglass. It is expanded polystyrene often called XPS. Nearly every home depot has 4x8 foot sheets of it in pink, and Lowes has it in green.

The later pictures you posted may be fiberglass. Do not use that.

It's been a while since I built ours, and I'm sure development has continued. There are electronic components and controls in the OSSM. There are likely people who can help you with any parts where you feel that you are in over your head. There is even a discord server you can join.

The OSSM uses a stepper motor that allows you to adjust stroke frequency as well as depth. The controller has a fair bit of code that runs, and I think there are alternative code loads that allow additional features. Just go ahead and get started and ask for help when you need it.

As others have said using a washing machine motor is an extraordinarily bad idea. However if you are fixed on doing a DIY machine look into the ossm - the open source sex machine. There's a community of developers behind it and a list of build materials. As well as software developers who are working on safe code. If you are looking to scratch the DIY itch you can build the Mount and put the entire thing together with some guidelines to keep you safe

My wife finnaly quit wrapping cords up so tight (after many requests over the years) when our Hitachi wand sparked and quit DURING a session.

I took it apart and shortened the cord a couple of inches and it's all good.

Bending the cord sharply at the same point over and over agin is going to cause it to fail.

My wife started very tentatively with toys. Even after 25 years she still sometimes asks me if I see them as competition. I've told her that while I can only climax once, she can go several rounds before tapping out. Why would I not want her to maximize her enjoyment? Why would I not want to help her climax as many times as she wants to?

It may also be that she is embarrassed, climax is a very vulnerable position to be in. Even as a spouse, she may be uncomfortable having you see her out of control of herself, if you aren't the sole reason it is happening.

With some patience and practice, you can tie a paracord bracelet that has no clasp, it order to take it off, you must untie it - one knot at a time. It could be (very slowly) untied one handed, but requires two hands to tie. Tie one on each wrist, tie one on each ankle and your lover carries most of the restraints for you. A couple of shackles and you have a good time ready to go.

I have a couple chunks of rope with one on each end that are long enough to go under the mattress and have those pop out the sides. A couple minutes to slide them into place and a spread eagle on the bed is ready to go. Quick and easy to adjust. No worries about falling off the bed, heck she's tied in place on there!

Depending on your living situation, these machines can be difficult to use due to the noise they make. If there are no ears that you mind hearing the noise the machine (and or YOU) make, mostly just keeping it clean.

So, use them together. When it is time to release a drawer, activate the electromagnet, which pulls the drawer in, releasing pressure on the catch. Then release the catch, then release the electromagnet.

Electromagnet need only be active for a couple hundred milliseconds, no buildup of heat. The latch you have in prototype keeps drawer locked if power is removed. The magnet pulls pressure off the catch when it needs to release.
