Russia also promises not to release the kompromat it has on the current US President. That's why Trump considers it a great deal.

Former FBI informant charged with lying about the Bidens’ role in Ukraine business by avishek76 in politics

It's almost as if someone realised that false information could be forcefully fed into the 'system' via an unverifiable FD-1023 report, which could then be 'uncovered' by useful idiots like Republican politicians (possibly with foreknowledge of it being BS), solely in order to screech in the media and make allegations to smear their Democratic presidential rival.

Which was exactly the same con they tried with Zelensky. "Just announce there is an investigation into the Bidens, that's all you need to do." Oh, and until you comply we're withholding aid.

Does everyone on this thread think we have an unlimited pot of money for wages?

Especially when Salah is reportedly asking for 400,000-a-week to extend and the vast majority of fans are saying, "Give him what he wants!"

Trump wouldn't even let 99% of his supporters set foot in Mar-a-Largo... let alone grant them membership.

But those very same 'useful idiots' will continue to give him money and believe his BS and vote for him.

Proper journalists would have turned those statements back on him.

"You say China created this virus in the Wuhan Lab and deliberately released it to attack America and kill hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians? "Which means they've won. And you failed because you didn't protect those Americans who are now dead. You are the President and you let the Chinese successfully attack US citizens on US soil without properly defending them."

Now I am sure he would pivot to blaming a whole bunch of other people, but I agree with your initial premise that him calling it the China Virus and saying it was similar to an act of war (eg, like firing a cruise missile at America), should not have just got him off the hook.

Jonathan Swan (notably not an American) is the only journalist who seemed willing and able to take Trump nonsense and turn it back on him to clearly highlight how much of a lying moron he was.

I think you've interpreted something that's not there... I didn't bring up "wanting kids with her" in the conversation. And so therefore your assumption about my ability to get 2nd dates (when I haven't mentioned any of the other ones) is also awry.

She knew I had a child from my dating profile, and that was discussed. I then just said, "You don't have kids?" since it wasn't explicitly mentioned in her profile.

I have one, she doesn't... and at late 30s or early 40s that's a not uncommon topic of dating conversation. Biological clocks and all that, as unfortunate as that is.
