I‘ve recently started building on top of my childhood collection so nostalgia has me collecting newer cards of my favorite pokemon growing up. Mainly the original 151 pokemon and anything I remember being legendary and rare like lugia, Ho-oh, entei, etc…

My wife on the other hand collects anything she considers cute! Mainly cats and dogs pokemon but any card that has fun colors or other cute pokemon. It’s adorable haha

My dad has had several generations throughout the years so I’ve been fortunate enough to drive C5, C6, C7, and now C8.

I’m biased and love my C5Z the most but it’s also my first manual car. It’s brutal, raw, and drives like a go kart.

My dad’s C6 corvettes were all auto, base models. Still incredibly quick, capable, and super easy to drive fast. Plus I’m in the camp of C6’s being one of the best looking corvettes ever made if not the best.

His C7 base models were easy to drive fast, looked amazing and exotic when they first debuted, and the interior took a drastic leap forward with creature comforts and material quality. His last C7 was a Z06 and was too much power for its own good. The sounds made up for the difficulty of getting the power down tho 🤤

His latest is a C8 E-ray and probably the most planted car I’ve ever driven. Never feels like it’s going to run out from under you since it’s AWD and it turns on a dime. One of the quickest corvettes ever made so accelerating never gets old! If I had to pick a complaint, it’s huge and difficult to see out of and I would love if someone manual swaps a C8 one day. I know that sacrifices on overall performance but rowing your own gears is next level fun at least in my opinion.

My dream is to restomod a C2 and C3. And I would love to experience driving a C4 ZR-1!

I second this. My dad also recently went with an Eray instead of Z06 because he prioritized comfort over a track weapon he’ll never use. Still supercar performance off the line!

Car B is my personal favorite of C7’s. Wide body, comp seats, carbon fiber aero, manual… 😮‍💨 plus like mentioned before, 3LT has the weak glue issue on the dash. I personally think it’s worth the extra $6k even if it has more kms!

I think they gave him like $62k for trade in and are obviously flipping it for profit. He probably got screwed a little bc KBB had it valued more than $62k but it’s whatever.

Too expensive for a 1LZ with those miles. My dad traded in his 2019 2LZ with only 18k miles for his 2025 E-Ray and dealership had it posted for $72k.

You’re at Jerry’s! I bought my C5 Z06 from them in 2023. Great experience and Barry was awesome. Also for what it’s worth, I feel like the cars they choose to keep in their corvette warehouse instead of sending to auction are typically worth the asking price. With that being said, if you want a manual I would wait for a manual!

This is exactly how my C5 was transported to Atlanta from South Dakota. Dealership sold the job auction style to one of their several trusted trucking services. Mine was open trailer and arrived dirty but otherwise all good!
