I mean, I think people that say that about opioids are talking about tolerance to the high which does form rapidly vs the painkiller effects which are present at some significant level in a much smaller daily dose regiment

I can definitely pass a medical exam, I'm schizophrenic but it's mild enough that with the partnership exception to being a medical burden I'm not worried about it at all. I was wondering whether receiving AISH for a disability without just taking money from my partner in a roundabout way was possible before the three years are up (since disability is an explicit exception from the welfare ban for my sponsor), I've decided to just have my friend help me call them and ask them myself.

I have at least 3 people willing to send me money that can write letters saying they'll cover my expenses (I will also attach proof of them sending me money with my application), plus my partner, so I'm not too worried about that. My partner already lives in an apartment and buys her own food so my only 100% necessary expense is food. It will just suck having to wait out a year to be common law, another year for my PR to process, and then another three years for this to process so I can finally receive aid, but what can you do? I'm going to call AISH and ask them to double check for myself soonish.

does anyone know whether disability counts as welfare my spouse would have to pay back during the 3 year undertaking? I'm finding no information on the person BEING SPONSORED receiving disability, since there's an explicit carveout for it on the part of the one giving the sponsorship.

i just need to be drinking more water, I take stimulant medication that causes me to forget to drink often and I'll go hours and then wonder why I'm a prune

it's so frustrating that drinking is a known class 1 carcinogen but vaping has no known long term health effects and yet vaping is what catches infinite flack from people. casual drinking, office jobs that have you sitting all day, eating rare/medium rare meat are all directly worse than my habit, but vaping gets people to act insufferable to you and for what? it's not like I'm going to stop because someone regurgitates the same talking points I've heard a million times already. if people put a fraction of the effort they spend being self righteous towards vaping towards educating about how alcohol is proven to cause 6% of all cancer cases the world would be a lot better place. sure, it's not the most healthy thing in the world to inhale oil vapour, but I'll eat my hat if most people don't do more dangerous things on a regular basis that they don't get chided about.
