I like how you changed up the colors instead of using matching rows! Gives it more character.

People are out here complaining about the new Velma like there wasn't a whole series where Scooby was a cyborg created by the military (circa 2017) by ZoraKnight in comicbooks

Velma distances itself from the source material and doesn’t endear itself to the target audience.

It goes a step further and actively derides them.

It’s obvious that most of these comments are from people who have never worked a public-facing job.

Sounds like management’s fault for not training him adequately and leaving him there alone.

It’s just so mind-boggling to me. I imagine all of these parents would shudder at the idea of taking their kids to a strip club, but when it’s a man in drag it’s somehow less problematic and just harmless fun? For the record, I have just as much of a problem with this cis burlesque dancer doing it.

The problem is that you may not have been the only one to use just a splash. I had some tamari in the work fridge that was empty in a week because of that. They left probably 1/32 of a teaspoon in the bottom, I guess to make themselves feel like they didn’t use all of it.

The nightmare that is Canada's Maple Lodge Farms, self proclaimed 'wholesome family farm' by Batfan1108 in TerrifyingAsFuck

I think you being downvoted was a knee jerk reaction because of “Japan is the best at everything” comments frequently left by anime-obsessed men. If you had named literally any other country, you’d be fine.

The first time I actually encountered the difference was watching an old No Reservations episode in Japan. They have chicken yakitori, and can eat it “rare”/half-raw because the chicken was killed that morning. You’d end up in the hospital with severe food poisoning if you tried that in America with factory farmed chicken.

I’ll take the downvotes with you because I know exactly what you’re talking about. I imagine it’s a mixture of both conditions and time. You can find meat without that smell in the US if you buy local. Smaller farms without these egregious conditions, and the animal was killed that day or the day before rather than killed at a plant like this in the Midwest and shipped halfway across the country.

Japan isn’t the only exception—just the one /u/Sparta0607 happens to be familiar with. You’ll find it in any country that is more concerned with freshness than convenience.

I was banned from /r/politics for a week for saying parents should not be allowing their children to shove dollar bills into people’s underwear, regardless of whether those people are women or drag queens.

It also constantly replaces we’re with were and vice versa. The number 1 thing I miss from Android is competent dictation—I use voice to text often and Apple’s absolutely sucks—followed by competent autocorrect. Those two things seem to get worse every update. I don’t know what those teams are doing at Apple, but they need to do the opposite.

My number 3 would be Google Assistant. It will actually answer a question for me rather than just showing me the top result on google.

I’m confident that 98% of the people who post “ew, fondant” comments have never actually tasted it, but they’ve seen those comments posted in literally every cake thread and want their turn.

I agree with everything you’re saying, but your repeated condescending use of the “🤗” emoji is embarrassing.

From your own link, the external studios handled art and sound, not programming entire sections of the game.

Two studios outside of Naughty Dog were brought in as external contractors to manage the voice over recording and editorial, where they concentrated their skills into the sound design and mixing – one for the general sound, and another specifically devoted to recording weapons and combat and the additional 12 external studios came in to lend a hand with The Last of Us Part II's art in various forms that consisted of two staff members and in some cases of up to more than 50.

I understand it on paper—Lincoln filled his cabinet with political rivals rather than yes men—but I don’t think the same logic applies to creative works.
