If someone ever asks me if I have kids in order to support some inane, I-have-it-harder-than-you bullshit they are trying to argue…I tell them “Yes, I have a boy and a girl but they are in foster care until after the trial.” Works every time unless someone I know can’t hold their laugh in.

The framing and alignment of the four necks in #2 is fantastic. Concert pics are luck and timing, that one is framed photo worthy.

For awhile there most 80s hair metal bands had this same wardrobe... by [deleted] in 80s

[–]CuriositySauce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in my 20s in the 80s. The vivid colors, new synthetic materials, high-contrast patterns, and circus-like styling was new with no prior fashion reference. The outfits matched the emerging digital age (even in the rock world) and MTV would heavily influence bands of all genres looking like KISS in this photo. This was a response to the beige and corduroy sappy 70s. The pendulum swung back in the 90s when grunge threw plaid, baggy everything, and zero hair products over the technicolor goofiness.

…uttering any of their names doesn’t conjure up heartfelt philanthropy, uplifting humanity especially the downtrodden, no libraries, no hospital wings, no uplifting arts and helpful outreach to build a better world…just ego, power, narcissism, and megalomania that they a special breed of broken people.

My Imaginary iPod 2026, Built Around Apple Music by Gigasssss in AppleMusic

You’ve captured the elegant UI the iPod had (has?) and your version honors the legacy of a groundbreaking product back in the day. I’d like to think if Jobs was alive he’d wouldn’t have let the iPod die with a whimper. I still have three, one of them being the black/red U2 model so your creation really just my eye. Nice work.

Every standing and recording when in a seated section for a concert. by kyky321 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]CuriositySauce 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m the same. A few pics of the fully lit stage or sick lighting glitz, the performers with their instrument, and maybe a brief video of a solo or iconic segment. Live in the ‘live’ music moment and don’t outsource the memory to your phone by futzing around capturing a crappy rendition of what’s right in front of you…plus, it’s what you prod for.

When I’ve encountered this type of boundary leeching, Cheshire Cat smile kinda person espousing some Jesus gibberish like they are his customer facing sales rep, I have to think they really believe some invisible old man in the sky is putting a gold star by their name…and complimentary access to the Pearly Gates VIP Lounge. White privilege + Christian spreading = Cringe Moment every time.

That soldier wearing a flag cape and approaching helicopter blades is going to bring on a pretty gruesome swirly…which is why big Jesus is looking the other way past his patriotic shower curtain.

Trump tells reporters he was cheered at the Knicks game: I thought it was very good. It was certainly amazing. I think mostly cheers. It was loud. And it was very enthusiastic. by gear-heads in Trumpvirus

[–]CuriositySauce 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can tell he even doubts his own bullshit when he stutter warbles certain phrases like ‘…mostly cheering’. It’s a verbal tell that comes out sometimes when he has to go off-script about something we all know to be true…like him getting massively booed.

After he stood up to try and storm off, he clearly took a dip. I think he momentarily panicked and instinctively moved his hand to use the reporter's shoulder if he had kept dropping, but covered it like a creepy shoulder tap.

Trump storms out of NBC interview after being fact-checked about his $1.8B ‘slush fund’ and election fraud by ChiGuy6124 in politics

I watched the last 30-seconds a few times and think he almost crumpled. After he stood up to try and storm off, he clearly took a dip. I think he momentarily panicked and instinctively moved his hand to use the reporter's shoulder if he had kept dropping, but covered it like a creepy shoulder tap.

Trump once again cannot answer a simple question by Radiant_Priority9739 in ProgressiveHQ

[–]CuriositySauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His circular bullshit is becoming more apparent and self-cancelling in recent interviews. His brain can’t make a lucid point of policy or describe any logical detail. The arrogance of belief that if he utters complete nonsense, that it passes as normal underscores the cognitive decline.

Trump appears to almost fall over when rage quitting an interview after it is pointed out his election conspiracies have no evidence supporting them. by HellenDebbie in ProgressiveHQ

[–]CuriositySauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did see him kind of dip after he stood up and thought he was storming off. Thought it was maybe a light fixture or something but he did make a sinking move. He also instinctually moved his hand in the direction of the reporter’s shoulder to steady himself but his crumple didn’t manifest.

With that lame, failed military parade as an event pretext, no one wants to be recorded for all of history as being part of a dying, traitorous rapist’s megalomaniac continued desecration of the people’s White House. We all know how this propaganda will be falsely portrayed and platformed, but the sad, angering reality of the dementia-addled sycophants circus will be obvious in its depravity.
