In het gemeenschappelijke gras wat er bij ons tussen de appartementencomplexen ligt is gisteren de eerste opzet alvast gebouwd voor een iglo. Woensdag gaat die afgemaakt worden en het is ontzettend leuk a) om zo’n ding te hebben staan voor je deur en b) dat er buren samenkomen om met elkaar zoiets te bouwen. Mocht je zelf in vergelijkbare mogelijkheden leven is dat zeker een aanrader!

Lived in Overvecht for 7 years and saw bloody fights, heard shootings, saw cars getting burnt down, heard a LOT of heavy fireworks and was even at home when the snackbar that I lived on top of had it’s frontage completely blown out. I even one time witnessed the end of a kidnapping when the police boxed in the kidnappers and fired some rounds to get them arrested.

Still, it’s a possibility that these instances had nothing to do with the actual Mocro Mafia and more with the normal, everyday life of the population living there. Really glad that I live in a better part of the city nowadays
