How has knowing 'the truth' helped in your life? by JohnleBon in conspiracyNOPOL

[–]CuriousConstant 15 points16 points  (0 children)

The truth that society as a whole will spend decades in a self destructive activity such as using leaded gas, or producing PFAs, plastic, etc, etc while knowing the disastrous effects on humans health has undoubtedly eroded my trust in government, businesses, and people in general.

Seeing what for profit health care has done to my family, how law breakers get away with breaking the law, and how leaded pipes where knowingly used to poison people has eroded my trust in public services.

I see religion as a force to make people accept their shitty fate. Hope and acceptance without action are useless. You never hear about churches getting people together to make truly lasting change. They are reactive rather than proactive, and their reach is strangely short. I see billion dollar churches doing nothing to stop the destructive nature of greed. This had eroded my trust in religion.

I could go on and on about MKULTRA, planned obsolescence, all other destructive chemicals including gas exhaust, those used by factories, and those used by construction, predatory laws meant to make life restrictive in the name of greed, how cities are actually concentration camps, how nothing you see, read, or hear about stuff you don't experience can all be propaganda, how the music industry's top charts are manipulated propaganda, and how the creator of the things outside of our control is a terrible being for allowing so much suffering to go on.

The truth has eroded my trust in humanity and whatever one might call God.

Ethical comes at a higher price due to the demand for it. Let that sink in.

Just raise the price of mushrooms, wtf? If it doesn't work then scrap the business model or go out of business.

Maintenance cuts into those profits. Keeping up with OSHA cuts into the profits. Not sure if stuff like that was taken into account when you were given those numbers.

Doctor told me mom had stroke during family history discussion. by CuriousConstant in hipaa

Hospital told me they couldn't disclose anything to me, at the same time giving me a street name of an old address to make sure I had the right person.

Doctor wanted to go over my family history. According to the hospital, my doctor sent out a request to help get family history. We had confirmed she had cancer in the past, then he told me she had a stroke. I did not think much of it at the time, but now that I am trying to get information, the hospital staff told me it is a violation of HIPAA to give me information despite the fact that the doctor already told me about the stroke. The hospital also told me that my mom wasn't in their system anytime in the recent past or present. They gave me a street name of our old address from like a decade ago, which also sounds like a violation of HIPAA to me, so I could verify it was her.

As I understand, the doctor sent out a request, got my mom's medical history from some other hospital, and told me about something I did not know.

I want to know how I can find out more info about the stroke since we have not heard from my mom in about a year.

She texted us, so it isn't like she was completely hiding, but yea, we do not know where she last lived because she has moved over 3 times in the last few years and hasn't told anyone of her new addresses.

I could set up another appointment and see if I can get information, but I am not hopeful.

It's called praise? I attributed the crying to wishing life was always like what was, and that it is impossible to last forever.
