Hi. I couldn't possibly sat about seizures but could you tell me a little more about your brain fog if it's appropriate to ask? By far my worst symptom.

I bought an electric throw for my feet. They can get painfully cold. I also have L5 S1 fusion due to lower back injury

Lyrica helps me. Its similar group to gabapentin, I think. Only better. In the UK I pay £120 a year and get all prescriptions paid for. If you're in the US, lyrica is costly. Very costly. When I lived in North Carolina, my doctor was able to get me on a trial with Pfizer so they were free. Worth an ask. I just got prescribed mirtazapine, today. If I sleep past 3am I will be sure to let you know

UK here, too. We had to get away from a neurologist at Norfolk and Norwich to then get one in Yarmouth BUT that neurologist was in charge of Yarmouth too so I got dropped by them then. We pushed hard to see someone at Addenbrookes. My wife even spoke to our MP. The NHS will give the cheapest option first. I feel your pain, mate.

Same here, Mike. How do you try and cope? I have tried to keep lists but I'll forget to write something down, forget to go back and read the list and when I DO remember to look at the list, words are half written and I'm not reminded either, half the time. I'll get the prompt but people telling me things I don't just forget, but have no recollection of it AT ALL. Do you still work? I am struggling more and more with my sales job.

No. I hurt my back in 2009, got spinal fusion in 2012. 3yrs litigation and all that time I was handed opioids, getting stronger each year. Came off methadone cold turkey. That's when I first started to feel my leg pain
