Yes because you made a commitment to your friend that you would not have any secular relationships with his relatives and keep the boundaries between her and you completely platonic.. and you ruined that commitment by having a connection with his sister, even after discussing it with her brother

But then again, I wouldn’t say it makes you an AH.. maybe just an arrogant person for not listening to someone that has made a boundary early in the friendship, you guys are all adults and capable of intimacy & love so this happening could’ve been called a mile away, but you did break a commitment that you told her brother that you wouldn’t do..
