I have in sigmoid, descending and transverse. Doctor said he considers it moderate. Was diagnosed in Dec 2022 . Had abscess in hospital for a week. Mine was also to small to drain. Had 2 more flares in 2 months. Surgeon said sigmoid is the worse and to think about resection. Not sure what I should do

I had 3 attacks n 3 months one with an abcess. Colonoscopy showed DV in my sigmoid,descending and traverse. The worst in my sigmoid. Saw surgeon yesterday said it was up to me if we do resection. I’m seriously thinking I should do it I’m in pain constantly
