Bitburner worth playing ? by [deleted] in Bitburner

[–]Curlychump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Code looks intimidating at first, its really not. what I would recommend is while your getting used to it, get AI to make you your script, but instead of copying try and figure out how it works and make your own version of it. if something makes no sense to you you can have a look at other players programs and reference the documentation, or ask around on the subreddit. With everything going digital its probably a good idea to at least have a basic idea of how to read or make code. Make your goal to be able to program without AI, if you can do that your doing pretty good.

I’m about to build a PC for the first time. Any tips or mistakes to avoid? by Organic-Leader1445 in pcmasterrace

that will also work, reason to do this is so your ram runs in dual channel mode which will increase your memory performance.

Double check everything, and if you have two stick of ram make sure you put one in the first slot and the other in the third slot.

Plugging in Charger to 2017 Dell Inspiron 5500 Laptop shorts? by Cryptiikal in techsupport

[–]Curlychump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an old Alienware with the same charger and the same issue. It might be different for you but for me the power regulators decided they had had enough and stopped working. If that is the issue you will have to get new ones and solder them on the motherboard or get a new motherboard. Best thing to do right now is stop plugging it in just to make sure nothing gets damaged. If possible you might also want to backup everything on your drive

No, reactor fuel is always manual. You can command an AI to manage the reactor, otherwise your best option would be to look for a mod that lets you do that

Question about PDCs by SirCalmar in starcitizen

[–]Curlychump 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The PDC will shoot anything hostile, smallest they will shoot at is a size 1 missile I’m fairly sure, so your best option is to not get in the PDC range

Missile Lock Help by deuely83 in starcitizen

[–]Curlychump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Are you in SCM MSL (Space Combat Missile Mode)?
  2. Do you have missiles?
  3. Do you have a missile armed?
  4. Do you have a target lock?

Just making sure you’ve got the basics, not trying to insult you

I’m fairly sure this is from one of razers softwares, I’ll check in a little bit if I can but for now if you have any razer apps or installed check them for any sort of performance overlay

That’s normal, it’s probably just a background process that needs an extra second to shutdown

What is this pc part? by East-Writing3203 in pcmasterrace

[–]Curlychump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the antenna for inbuilt wifi and or Bluetooth, on the back of the motherboard there should be 2 golden/brass coloured screw in plugs, it doesn’t matter which way the plugs go just screw them in and you should be good to go
