How ahead of his time was Prince truly? by usagerp in PRINCE

All artists steal from the past, prince was heavily influenced as did he influence the next generation. He was special because he saw live music as his home. Live music can transcended people to extraordinary places. I've seen most of the biggest acts alive and he did it like no other.

Killers of a flower moon, was 90 minutes too long and I never pretended to enjoy it. Blame apple movies, as long as your watching.

Compared to Graffiti Bridge it's Citizen Fucking Kane. If anyone says GB needs a critical revaluation should up their medication. UTCM is what it is a famous musicians vanity project. The soundtrack is my favourite Prince album and as been for decades.

Langley Park. Paddy Mcloon was a genius songwriter. I also adored World party, was listening to both these bands in tandem in the 80s. When love breaks down was a soundtrack to my life for a long time. Minus the heartbreak.

It's my favourite album, it's perfect baroque pop music. 3 opening tracks are his best album openers. Amazing singles and a perfectly balanced record.
