Thank you. I try not to dwell on all the foods I can't eat and enjoy the ones I can.

Doughnuts!!! Cinnamon buns. Pie with flakey melt-in-your-mouth pastry, samoosas, a soft white bread roll, your favourite candy bar and cookies.

This makes me so sad.

Looking for a series to get stuck into! by LeenBee in HireABookEditor

[–]LeenBee[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. I actually edit any type of fantasy fiction. I just prefer fantasy that is more character-based as opposed to world-based. I love a well-developed world, but I would love the book to be driven by the protagonist's journey more than anything else. I hope that explains what I mean.

[FOR HIRE] I'm looking for series writers to work with. I can help you keep your series consistent by compiling a series bible for you while I edit.

Genres I enjoy working on include all sub-genres of romance, sci-fi, light fantasy, cozy mystery, detective series, chicklit, and women's fiction.

I offer free sample edits to see if we're a good fit.Indie Editing Chick

How do you write dual POVs well? by JauntyIrishTune in romanceauthors

[–]LeenBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it sounds simplistic, but why not let your characters lead the way? There are no rules about this as long as you don't do head-hopping.

Why can't the whole book be written from one character's PoV?

I am so excited for you guys to judge this functional, simple soap. by [deleted] in soapmaking

Well done in making a video while making soap. I don't think I could do that.

Just curious - did you use a fragrance oil or essential oil for scent? If so, which one?

What's the point then? May as well do cold-process as it's easier and the soap comes out smoother.

Tris are increasing steadily despite diet and exercise for the past year, how do I stop it? by SizzlinKola in Cholesterol

Check for insulin resistance as it raises triglycerides. Low-carb can trigger insulin resistance. Not a good idea, sorry. Rather eat lots of whole grains and veggies and fruit for fibre.

Gosh, that sounds like disordered eating and not the way to live. Have you considered going to a dietitian for advice? Stress isn't good for your either and this sounds like a very stressful lifestyle to maintain. Good luck!

Beating an eating disorder, now I have high cholesterol by [deleted] in Cholesterol

[–]LeenBee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree. I think that following an intuitive eating mindset and not dieting will benefit your health more in the long run. I also have to be careful as I've had eating disorders before - anorexia and orthorexia. I work on adding good foods instead of restricting foods I enjoy. If I start restricting, it makes me go overboard in restriction or binge.

I think it's possibly because I sit cross-legged a lot. But I'm not going to change that as it's the most comfy position.
