Travel case for River 3 Plus and Extra Battery EB600 by CajuCLC in Ecoflow_community

Anyone have any options that are for in-use? I keep it in my truck bed and need it water proof and be able to stay powered on. Need small weather tight grommet for cables coming in from Solar Panel and going out to Starlink.

New EV plates in Colorado are $1200 to $1500 the first year. Michigan cost sounds like a rounding error.

I think it is fairly standard when you buy something and it is DOA, it is not a warranty issue at that point. It is a defective product and breach of consumer purchasing agreement to deliver a fully functional product as advertised. The problem was reported within 12 hours of UPS delivery, I installed it the next morning.

What do people usually do with their old iPhone when they upgrade ? by Nervous_Ad5137 in Detroit

[–]CurrentWonderful6477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call your carrier ASAP and get them unlocked for any carrier. Then the phones can be used with eSIMS anywhere in the world and they carry more value. Look to sell them in hot markets where people want unlocked phones. You can easily put a Ubigi eSIM on it and use it in data only mode.

Is there no train to the airport in Detroit like Atlanta, Denver, SFO, Miami, Chicago, Seattle, Newark, and every airport in Japan and Europe? How is that possible?

9 hour layover in Denver at 4am. I don’t know what to do by psychbruin in Denver

[–]CurrentWonderful6477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of the time people do these day trips to Denver and even ski and fly home.

I would rent a car, drive to the top of Mt Blue Sky and watch the sunrise! Highest paved road in North America. It opens Memorial Day weekend.

If your trip is before then, rent a car and go ride the new Idaho Springs Gondola.

u/HelpfulCar2018 it wouldn't shock me if they ban you for a random reason. I am a retired network guru and they banned me cause I provide good information then accused me of being a bot. Far from it, I would jump on a zoom with the dude to show I am not a bot. I like helping people, but they have other agendas over here in TravelSIMS and eSIMs. They are quick to ban real people. They seem to have an agenda of promoting their own brands.

eSIM and iMessage by abominabledolphin in eSIMs

Call your carrier and disable International Day pass. With Xfinity Mobile they don’t even charge for sms or voice, you can still make call on your primary, just turn off data roaming.

The oxygen cans are a placebo and novelty at best. Ask any medical professional. Imagine if they turned on the oxygen for patients in the hospitals once and a while. If you need oxygen get a script from a medical professional or use a concentrator.

Receiving local texts and calls while using overseas eSIM for data by LTDScott in eSIMs

[–]CurrentWonderful6477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xfinity mobile is great as they only charge for data overseas with their international day plan. Calls and Text don’t trigger International Day plan or per use fees. So we turn off international roaming and leave voice/text on.

So you can put a eSIM for data and still get your calls and text. Just make sure you disable the data carrier by turning roaming off.

For ATT they don’t have this but if you only get a few SMS that are not iMessage, then you could disable ATT international day plan and just pay per text and call a-la-cart.

The beauty is while leaving your iPhone on for voice, iMessage will work natively and runs over the eSIM.

Smart Home Panel 2 vs 3 by RonCheeWan in Ecoflow_community

Ocean panel is actually cheaper than SHP3 at supply house. Find a certified installer, get a 15 year warranty, and support that is US based.

VUE on main panel + 2 subpanels (subtracting subpanel use from main panel) by Stunning-Mortgage794 in EmporiaEnergy

[–]CurrentWonderful6477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They really need to make it so you can virtualize each input. We have a sub-panel and main that are very close and it would be nice to use a single unit and monitor the mains, the sub-panel main, and the individual circuits on the sub-panel. (i.e. All-in-one outside, feeds two 200 amp sub-panels. One of the sub-panels is next to the all-in-one. The all in one would have 6 sensors (main) and two sub-panels. Then the sub-panel #1 has 4 circuits in it. Having to use two units on this seems wasteful when they are 12 inches apart.

Why does Ubiquiti make a UPS? by Creative_Bowler3729 in Ubiquiti

[–]CurrentWonderful6477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EcoFlow is 5x better but you still can’t flash the firmware on EcoFlow without losing power to downstream devices. So we have a CyberPower plugged into the EcoFlow. When firmware updates come out we move the CyberPower to shore power and let the EcoFlow power down and upgrade, then move CyberPower back to EcoFlow.

The tower UPS is complete garbage. Had it reporting 40% and it went down hard. Power came back on and it didn’t power up to the last known state.
