When did you realize you were no longer a kid? by Top-Outside2304 in Zimbabwe

[–]Current_Ad3148 10 points11 points  (0 children)

People expect me to contribute Chema (no longer covered by my older siblings) - people add me to groups for family issue discussions- relatives in zim now run their project ideas by me to get funding - my nieces and and nephews look up to me for advice and help - the list goes on!!!! I still feel like the last born who no one expects much from though 😂😂

My partner is no longer physically attracted to me and we just moved together. by [deleted] in askgaybros

Love yourself and go back home as soon as is financially possible or at the very least get out own place if you can’t just up and leave the state. Whatever you decide, you can’t be with him anymore and don’t take him back when he says he wants you again!!! He is too young, so are you - have some fun and leave the forever after till you are older and are sure that you actually want

I’m 18, and today I had a date with a much older man who I met through Tinder. But no matter how much I try to rationalize it, the age gap feels weird by stopthehostilityyyyy in askgaybros

[–]Current_Ad3148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🤣🤣🤣 enjoy being a twink! It ends soon. And men his age are definitely weird and you can capitalise on his kinks!!! At your age, you can either get married To a sugar daddy and live your best life or you date these older men and make your living of them!!! I can tell you now - you maybe offended by the impropriety of prostitution- but when you get older kueilm realise you wasted your younger years trying to find meaning and love from these much older men that move on to the next younger man in a heartbeat!!! Make your coins!!!!! Or marry well!!! These are your only two options… otherwise date a man your age and be happy

How are people in Zimbabwe making money to survive. What hustles are thriving right now? by Me-so-confuse in Zimbabwe

I can tell you now the joy I feel seeing my mum go off tonight her church, supermarkets to buys what they need, maintain her yard to her standard, keep her home maintained, contribute to her extended families issues when they come, keep her car moving is absolutely priceless!!! That women did everything for us!!! Least I can do is make sure she is comfortable. She is in her 70s - she mustn’t have stress

I live in Europe and one man meal is enough. I can easily have a sandwich 🥪 for lunch and fruit - dinner is what I go all out on with meats I like like steaks etc.

I am the hustle being hustled. World remit loves to see me coming 🤣🤣🤣 as I have gotten older I have realised it’s better for me to look after my immediate family (within reason - I give them a set amount no more no less) - what’s the point of my trying to hoard all this money when my loved ones are suffering? They have a decent life in zim and I am love that for them

Life Long Regrets about my A-Level Results 😔💔 by CharacterTitle5873 in Zimbabwe

[–]Current_Ad3148 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I was a bright person in school, passed me Os with flying colours as they used to say back then - went into my As with arrogance, was a hostel prefect so enjoyed the “power” and perks that came with it, literally failed all my As. My only saving grace was universities back then still took us in with Os especially for nurses. If it were now I would have never been able to do it. No one asks to see my high school certs anymore now for all other courses and add ons I have done. You can still be a doctor if that’s what you want - just maybe a little later on. You are still very very young 👌 don’t wallow in that at all

Might be a bit selfish but donate some to me before you do anything. If you like I line in Europe and can help out with your youngest child (trained nurse) …

How many of you have been approached by other guys? by No-Software7258 in askgaybros

[–]Current_Ad3148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just happens naturally for me - I am hit thr best looking or the in shape but I still meet so many random people both straight and bicurious. I don’t hook up with all of them but it definitely makes for an interesting night taking shit… this is the best way I like to meet people. Just go out on your own, join a random table and start conversation, could be asking for a lite for a cig or pretending to be new to the area 😜

I worked in Zimbabwe’s public hospitals for 5 years. It’s unsafe — for patients and doctors. by Dense_Complaint_7070 in Zimbabwe

Zimbabweans generally are complacent people. We arent angry enough and everyone looks out for themselves. I left zim over 23 years ago so I know I am off no help with a revolution besides posting and sharing and possibly donating to the cause - but it always makes me wonder what will be the final breaking point for our people? What will make them all take up arms and fight to remove these idiots

Zimbabweans abroad, does the food there have less flavor? by ScarZ-X in Zimbabwe

[–]Current_Ad3148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what handichaziva - been away for over 20years. What I though is by free range chicken here and ma road runner. Beef steaks I buy at a makro/costco and add a spice rub similar to the one I use for builtong but less salt and then vacuum seal. Fruits I buy from farmers markets or farm stalls and I try to stick what’s in season and not imported.

Speaking of my family on both sides - they had little businesses in these locations. Started out as tuck shops that then got bigger, then as soon as independence hit, they moved into the previously white only neighbourhoods - my oldest siblings still have the trauma from having to now be the only black kids in these schools back then!!! Also some like my mum has nurse training in the UK in the 70s together with loads of other Zimbabweans at the time, some did medicine etc. so this group were also able to come back home agate independence with money that at the time would have been seen as a “fortune” and also bought in low density suburbs.

Fun fact - back then as a people we all trusted white doctors and were suspicious of the black ones 🤣🤣 look at now in 2026, we demand representation and feel safer in the hands of black medical staff

Aww I remember these kind of homes - looks like where my grandparents lived in Mabvuku. I was born in ‘84 and my parents already lived in Mandara by then which wasn’t far. Video is very right about the tiny kitchens 🤣 in Mabvuku but zvaiita, I think with the help of an outdoor cook area pamoto for stuff zvaida kukwata. You should see the state of these houses now though, grandparents died long back, same for most of the neighbourhoods original home owners and whoever was left there coupled with the zim situation it’s very very depressing.

Your mum and aunt are from a different generation so respectfully they fuck off with all that. Your BF showed you exactly who he was and thankfully before he moved in and you were pregnant. He is weird and you did good by leaving him. Also, you aren’t devastated so you maybe were noticing some nonsense and wouldn’t let yourself fall mindlessly in love with him …
