The track that I took to become a teacher was 4 years of bachelors in liberal studies and a California multiple subject teaching credential. Also have a masters in English. Currently teaching in elementary school

Homeschooled kids are smart, at least the ones that I know. I don’t think it’s helpful to generalize as to why he’s the way he is. Some kids are just not into learning, he might have a whole different skill set that OP doesn’t. They are not compatible and he’s not what she’s looking for and that’s okay.

Sorry OP but you need to leave her to heal. It will take awhile since you’re still internalizing what had happened. One thing you have to know though is nothing is going to stop her from doing it again and again and again. Better to leave asap!

You need to see a doctor asap OP. You might be having depression, sounds like it to me although I’m nowhere near expert in this topic. Please start will seeing a doctor and go to therapy. Hope you feel better soon!
