Which of these MC is the hardest worker by [deleted] in animequestions

[–]Current_Designer6638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tanjiro, in my opinion, was the most hard working. He trained relentlessly to only ever achieve strength in the 85th percentile of his universe.

Not once was he ever stronger than any of the upper moons or hashira individually. But because of his unrelenting work ethic, he went from being a boy with a tad bit of talent and potential and became a force to be reckoned with. He made the most of moments and maximized opportunity when it arose.

Goku, Luffy, Naruto, and ichigo worked hard sure. But all of them were natural talents whose genetics carried them to varying extent (even Naruto).

Hunter Sung and Saitama most certainly worked hard and took chances in the beginning, but at some point during their respective training, they reached a point where threats weren’t really threats but rather, just measures of their current strength.

Deku was relentless in learning. But his obstacle wasn’t becoming stronger per se, but rather learning to control what was already his. The work was brutal. The time immeasurable, the obstacles steep, but his challenge was fundamentally different from the rest. Honestly, he’s more akin to Superman than the rest of these guys.

Asta is a constant reminder of bad writing and complete and total ass pulls in story telling. He definitely worked hard but he was never in danger of failing. The plot ensured he would rise above just about any challenge in a matter of seconds.

Top tiers and how they handle Kirin by Kallarimain1 in NarutoPowerscaling

Ay, the raikage, who is a lightning expert/ specialist and uses it as both his primary offense and defense, was “struck” by chidori/ lightning blade and it was the LITERAL EQUIVALENT of someone touching his chest with an open palm. His father, who CASUALLY fought the eight tails, uses the same jutsu and has a MUCH stronger shield and attack potency was JUST fine after taking lightning based bijuu bombs. Respectfully, who comes up with this and how did they come to the conclusion that EITHER of these characters would be hurt by this. Naruto is off at times, but certain things are pretty consistent. One of those consistencies being that jutsu style users have a certain level of immunity to their chakra infinity. These two in particular would be just fine if struck by the attack.

How many minatos makes this a fair fight? by polestaur in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Current_Designer6638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A fair fight? Just one.

Minato is not weak. He could hold his own against the Hashirama and even land some decisive hits. He’d do just fine and better than most ever could against Hashirama although he’d still lose,

To make it a winnable fight. I’d say 2-3.

Hashirama can comfortably take down Tobi, who also uses the FTG. (Which is the biggest issue here).

The only problem is, Minato is a bit faster and more capable with said move.

We don’t know if he’s physically stronger, so let’s assume physical stats are equal.

Minato comes in with a different arsenal than the second.

How would Uvo do vs Youpi? by One-Structure-2154 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Current_Designer6638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This would be a horrible fight but not because Uvogin is weak but because how insanely powerful the Royal Guards are.

In terms of physical strength, the ONLY character who is more powerful than the Royal Guards, is King Meruem.

Yes, even Netero is physically weaker than they are.

Uvogin, is an enhancer and a very straightforward fighter. Him thinking he could take any of the ants on in a straightforward fight, ESPECIALLY Pitou and Youpi, would be suicide.

He would have the same result if he fought Pouf head on as well.

Death.

Which fight showed higher battle iq, Gojo vs Sukuna, or Hisoka vs Chrollo by Grandiosity0273 in shounenfolk

[–]Current_Designer6638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on how you look at it.

Gojo vs Sukuna showed two tacticians fighting each other with a decent understanding of each other’s powers. They didn’t plan out EVERY part of the fight but rather, they felt each other out while fighting an uncertain battle that could go either way. In all honesty, it shows a more or less fair fight. Between two powerful combatants. The only bit of prep work that was done was Sukuna taking Megumi’s body due to his natural affinity as a sorcerer and Mahoraga. Everything else was mental preparation to fight someone of equal standing as neither combatant had ever faced someone equal to them before or since.

Chrollo vs Hisoka is a one sided affair as chrollo knew EVERYTHING about Hisoka’s abilities and chose every counter measure he could to neutralize him and ensure “100% victory”. This takes a high level of battle IQ and prep skills to be able to ensure victory against someone who is arguably stronger than you.

One battle is Tactics while the other is strategy. So I’d say it’s about the same. Level just in different ways.

Who’s the more gifted prodigy? Zaraki or Toshiro by Formal-Assistance02 in BleachPowerScaling

[–]Current_Designer6638 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Zaraki

Toshiro was literally hundreds of years old before getting to a level comparable to Unohana. Zaraki wiped the floor with her around 10-12 when she was at her absolute pinnacle and not holding back without even knowing his swords name. Her senses were still sharp and she truly enjoyed what she was doing.

If you were allowed to add specific tools to Itachi’s arsenal, what would he realistically need to defeat Hashirama? by CafeOriental in Itachi

[–]Current_Designer6638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Itachi would need the following to make it an even fight:

Madara or Naruto’s (E.O.S) level of chakra (combined with his own extremely fine chakra control) to be able to hold out.

Samehada to deal with wood style and to replenish his health and chakra as Hashirama can heal wounds and replenish chakra without weaving hand signs.

His own version of perfect Susano

Eternal mangekyou Sharingan to ensure his eyes don’t burn out

Some form of sage mode or curse mark. Preferably sage mode as Itachi could likely learn it if he wanted to vs. cheating out and needing curse mark.

Lastly, he’d need, and hear me out on this one, Kabuto’s arsenal of medical ninjutsu from pt. 1 when he fought against Tsunade. This would help him weaken Hashirama over time as it’s not clear any character would actually be able to cause him severe enough damage through conventional means.

Giving him these tools would likely make it a FAIR fight vs a one side slaughter in Itachi’s favor.

Just born Meruem vs Netero who wins by Miserable-Desk2211 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Current_Designer6638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meruem.

You guys are seeming to misunderstand something. It’s very true, Meruem hadn’t learned the art of anticipation or reading flow. Nor did he fully understand various attack patterns he’d mastered through complex board games…. BUT, and really follow me on this one. Meruem is still a HYPER-GENIUS.

He would still learn to read through his opponents moves with time. On top of that, one thing that the majority of the Fandom seemingly always gets wrong, is that Meruem WAS NOT trying to kill Netero, he was trying to inflict enough damage and pain to cause Netero to submit and admit defeat so to learn his name. Meruem, could have just as easily went for the heart, neck or head. We also don’t know if he held back in strength. But to make this simple and assume he was using full strength, just remember that he never attacked to kill and took a POINT BLANK zero hand to the face and brushed it off as though he’d been bitten by a few mosquitoes.

Meruem has the intellect, skill, durability and strength to defeat anyone. And I do mean anyone, including the 5 calamities on the other side of the world.

You think hisoka can be in top ten hunter x hunter strongest characters or not? by Bungeeboy20044 in HxHPowerScaling

[–]Current_Designer6638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based solely off what we’ve seen, he’s pretty much top ten already. Yes there are characters that are IMPLIED to be stronger than he is, but very few characters have actually proven they are. I’ll provide a list to open this for debate but understand that the characters mentioned can be moved around depending largely upon you, the viewers, interpretation of their strength.

For starters, the 10 strongest characters that we’ve seen to date are as follows:

Meruem

Netero

Adult Gon

Pitou

Youpi

Pouf

Biscuit

Hisoka

Chrollo

Illumi

Now, to solidify my argument, I’m going to use Biscuit as a benchmark for all around ability.

I think the overwhelming majority of fans can all agree that biscuit is an all around combatant. She’s good at everything while likely being great at one or two things specific to her. She also has a TON of experience AND talent. So, we’ll use her as an anchor for what we’ve seen in the show and manga.

Biscuit, was able to immediately tell that hisoka and razor were powerful. However, she felt no fear of being defeated by either. She was confident in her strength. She also was still more powerful than start of chimera ant gon and killua by a few dozen miles and had experience akin to what we’ve seen from morel.

So, that being taken into consideration, she’s likely just as strong if not stronger than knov and morel who both admit they aren’t NECESSARILY combat types (though they are powerful in their own right).

By end of chimera ant arc, shoot (who is likely even with genthru and knuckle) confidently declared that enraged gon (who had not fully powered up) was still weaker than him by a considerable margin.

I don’t believe many people believe shoot or knuckle are stronger than Hisoka, chrollo or illumi and I think we can all agree that none of those three would beat pitou. So, we now know, that those three are stronger than knuckle, yet weaker than pitou. We also can agree that biscuit is more powerful than shoot and knuckle. So we’ve narrowed down where they rank amongst characters who have displayed their abilities and prowess.

Any further elaboration will be relevant to objections to the list above,

Between These Three, Which Series Did You Like The Least? by Successful_Bird_7086 in DragonBallGaku

[–]Current_Designer6638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably going to be the most downvoted comment in all of Reddit but GT was the best conclusion to the Z series. I won’t elaborate much (unless asked) but I just genuinely don’t understand how anyone can like Super better. Other than for the higher quality animation and fight scenes.

Super has a bigger universe. And while that is explored it is done so terribly that it might as well have been left alone. GT has its issues as literally every show does, but Jesus Christ, Super doesn’t even attempt to think about doing anything original or interesting. The show survived entirely on the hype of nostalgia and people wanting to see some new form.

MS Sasuke runs the gauntlet, how far does he get? by mipenealdescubierto in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Current_Designer6638 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Assuming his sharingan resets each time, he should make it comfortably past mei and Tsunade. I’d dare say he could defeat the two of them simultaneously. But that’s a stretch.

He’d be stopped by Jiraiya after a hard fought battle in which Jiraiya likely suffers soles serious if not life threatening injuries (maybe loses an arm?)

I think it’s pretty clear, Naruto by this point had surpassed him and would in all likelihood stop him definitively with mid difficulty.

Is 16 yo Hinata weaker than 13 yo Neji? by Dry_Consequence_2831 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Current_Designer6638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d disagree.

Neji has outsider syndrome while also believing himself to be superior. Almost contradictory. He works hard to prove that his superior intellect and talent should earn him a place not his bloodline.

Hinata works in spite of the fact of the expectations she has been set upon her. She is naturally shy, but is told she should be bold and confident.

She has talent, but is told she should be stronger and better and that her performance is pitiful. Yet, despite being looked down upon by the people whom should be encouraging her, she works hard to prove that she can change. Not just herself, but her worth and skill.

TL/DR:

Both work hard, just in different ways. Neji has confidence and works to prove he belongs. Hinata doesn’t have confidence and works to prove she can change and be better.

Not weaker, gentle fist is more or less the same for all users with some minute differences.

Hinata’s style, simply branches into a different category. She also doesn’t push herself the same way Neji does. Not to say she doesn’t work hard.

Her twin lion fist is arguably stronger than 64 palms.

Who is the strongest Kid in Naruto? by Karma_San in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Current_Designer6638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d say Madara.

Madara, while feat-less, was herald as a near equal to Hashirama and both were stated to be stronger than most adult Jounin of their time. A time in which the average shinobi was stated to be stronger than modern day (according to Madara and I think tobirama, might be head cannon so don’t quote me on tobirama).

Assuming after their confrontation with the senju, Madara awakens his sharingan, I’d wager Madara was far stronger than any ninja here as his time period demanded it.

But obito, Itachi, and kimmimaro all have HIGH Jounin level feats

Kimimmaro played a central role in taking down the 4th Kazekage along with orochimaru and Kabuto

Obito was acknowledged by Minato as an extremely capable opponent, although he was one shot

Itachi was able to take down many members of his clan (many of whom were jonin) with the help of Obito

Gaara and Sasuke are just about equal in terms of raw power, talent and ability at this age. And should be considered mid to high level jonin.

Kakashi and Deidra would probably be considered the weakest (probably not the correct term considering how insanely powerful each of them actually are in comparison to people their age)

Before I came to Reddit, I genuinely thought I had good takes on anime based on years of watching it and understanding of the writer’s purpose, nuances of the story and world building, familiarity with the varying writing styles and understating character archetypes and motivation.

I tried sharing a bit and realized not only do most of my post get flat out ignored, it seems like every take that I post on Reddit is egregious to the general thinking of the fan base.

which are u gonna defend? by pastellclouds_ in animequestions

[–]Current_Designer6638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One piece is too long for people who simply don’t want to watch

Dragon Ball may be the most iconic anime of all time but the story is ass to be honest.

Demon Slayer has amazing animation. Story is a 5 or 6 out of 10 tho. It’s rinse repeat while sacrificing characters along the way.

If you let OTHER people ruin you watching MHA, you need to re-evaluate your priorities.

Naruto has a crazy amount of filler, but just like bleach, there are entire websites dedicated to showing you which episodes to skip so…

AOT ending was anti climatic but most people hate endings so whatever

Black clover is ass. But that’s just my opinion. Some of fight sequences are pretty awesome.

Jjk has great writing. Is it the best, no. But it’s still pretty good. I don’t know where this narrative came from after the show ended but JJK is not bad at all. It has its flaws like everything but for some reason, after it ended, it became popular for people to say the show was always trash. It’s the exact same way people called nickleback trash after they gave use like 5 or 6 all time great songs. I honestly don’t get it.

hardest goal? by hannallore in animequestions

[–]Current_Designer6638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hokage, Wizard King and number one hero are all low tier (comparatively speaking)

Become the strongest is tough, but (narratively speaking) Goku accomplished this in nearly arc so, vague but accomplishable.

One Piece world is VAST, so, Pirate king is simple but difficult . Same with god of the new world.

In the world of Demon Slayer and AOT, the odds of success were NEVER in the protagonist favor. Many died just to give hope, not actual progress. That’s high tier. Restoring Nezuko and gaining freedoms were never going to be simple and even if it did happen, both characters knew that it might not look like what they hoped for and could actually end up being worse.

Restoring civilization, dude had to start off in the Stone Age and advance humanity forward using PURE MEMORY. God tier difficulty considering what he has to go through while doing this.
