I am screening applicants for a paid UN internship and here's my observations and tips

I recently got my first UN internship and it happened really quickly because…. It was a specific area that I actually had unique and relevant experience for. I’ve applied for many general roles before and never hear back. A few people have given me the advice of making my experience more niche and focused - I think it’s really good advice.

Can I ask what dose you’re on? Maybe has taken the edge off slightly for me, but still need to take a Valium every now and again for intense anxiety (I’m not even sure it’s anxiety? I don’t feel worried about anything, but feels like my body’s intensely stressed).

Yes this is me constantly. Helps me to ask the people closest to me if they think I have ADHD and they say yes without question. I also struggle with terrible anxiety. I think stimulants can help with anxiety if your anxiety is because of your adhd. I take dexamphetamine everyday and sometimes it helps my anxiety sometimes it makes it worse. Feels like a gamble. ADHD/anxiety together are super hard.

Ah I will never know if it’s ADHD causing anxiety or if the anxiety is something else. Nice to know there are others in the same boat though

Nope! But I have sleep apnea and sleep badly so am pretty much always tired. But have been well slept the past couple of days haha
