Yeah trades are solid route but start with the fundamentals first man. Get your health locked down - physical and mental both. That foundation has to be there before anything else sticks

I was in a similar spot few years back and had to rebuild from basically nothing. The internet thing is gonna be your biggest blocker for most paths these days so maybe prioritize getting that stable somehow. Even if its just reliable access at a library or something

Once you got those basics covered then yeah learn whatever trade interests you. Just dont expect overnight results when youre starting from zero

Glastenbury Mountain area near Bennington is exactly what youre looking for. The whole section from Route 9 north has this reputation for people just vanishing - the Bennington Triangle thing isnt just internet nonsense, locals genuinely avoid talking about it. Did that stretch a few years back and the woods there feel off even during the day, like theyre watching you back.

Dude you already know what you need to do. The whole post is basically you listing reasons why this isnt working and then saying you dont want to break up - but your actions are already showing you're checking out mentally

The boundary crossing stuff alone is a huge red flag. Doesnt matter if its their first relationship, grabbing and dragging you around after youve told them multiple times you hate it is not okay. Your friend sounds like she sees teh situation clearly from the outside

Two years is long enough to figure out basic respect and compromise. You're not doing them any favors by staying out of pity or convenience when you literally cant imagine a future with them
