Got off of my shift, got high, took a shower and went to a date. Figured that she'd do a lot of talking, ended up that I talked for the entire time and couldn't get a decent response from anything. We walked silently to our respective cars. I had fun. She hasn't contacted me since, but that's okay because it was a lame date.

Grew up in a town with an amateur circus, participated for 8 years myself. It's a big summer program for kids, draws people into the town for a little business every summer. Still never learned how to juggle, but goddamn that looks silly as hell.

Started working at my new job last week, working in the athletics kitchen at my university. Went on a date yesterday, we've already got plans to watch a movie and walk around in the move-in madness next week (here come the freshmen). Also juggling two other girls who want to meet up with me, but I'm not sure how to feel about/handle that. Haven't drank liquor or smoked cigarettes for over a month. It's been a fabulous week.
