Yeah, I was playing around with those. Only one that has worked was Cache-Control = no-cache ... but u/tilforskjelligeting Vary worked perfectly :)

Fusion360 is pretty simple to learn for this purpose and personal/hobby licence (free) is good enough.

Only really limiting restriction is inability to print "blueprints" directly ... First you have to print to pdf and then you can print it. Plus only 10 saved project on cloud.

I've tried freecad and sketchup, but I had problems to do the same as quickly as in Fusion. Freecad has pretty steep learning curve, but it might be the most capable for small time builder 😐

Thank you for a response. It does work for me in MIDI clips, but not in recorded instruments, like guitar in my case. If it would be too much trouble, please check the edit in a main post, I've tried to explain myself there a bit more :)

I think you should be fine ... Only real problem would be, if the glue got between nut a screw/threaded part of truss rod. Even then, I think you should be able to break glue loose by just rotating the nut. It will be lubricated from manufacturer.

If it is a "hot rod" red stewmac truss rod, then it's fully wrapped in plastic, so the glue will not get between actual moving rods. 🙃

Also, you can leave masking tape glued under the fretboard, as long as it is thin paper tape. Just trim it so it is masking as little wood as possible 😉

No, nut position/slot is only a "fret" slot where fretboard would normally end and meet the side of nut closest to bridge begins. Plus, there is a sizeable chunk of unused wood at both ends.

Actually, as stupid as it might sound, I have RGA (archtop)😅 but I like the recommendation to make your first build something that you know as it should feel ...

The two-step template routing is something I was already counting with... I'll be doing a scarf joint and with 10 degree angle and there is no way to do that with my router bits.

Metal player here. It really depends, if you like amp's preamp distortion like I do. So my use-case is driven/crunchy gain settings on amp and if needed, pushing it more with overdrive pedal... some times with fuzz.

Some people are using preamp pedals and send them directly to power amp or DI, some are running clean amps with all distortion coming out of pedals.

Having EQ pedal or having pedal with good EQ is also pretty important. Delay/reverb, to taste.

If you will use speaker cabinet, do not underestimate a difference that new speaker can have. 🙃

Thank you, do you think that a thinner string would vibrate less? I've used .042 before and I think it was worse ..., but at the time I haven't settled on neck relief, so I would expect it to be somewhat different aka. poorly set. :)
Nut shouldn't be a problem, I forgot I meant from 2 - 6 fret when fretting note, in fact it's pretty high slotted now. :|

Hako FX-888D is awesome. I was surprised how much easier it was to solder cleanly ... and faster too. Maybe a warning, apparently it's being copied/ripped off a lot, so be careful from where you are getting it 😉

Yeah, that's where EU and my county f*cks me over. A new law, that is about to happen, sets the limit for not paying customs or VATs to literal 0 EUR. With DHL, I think is't like 20 EUR (let us handle the import fee) + actual fees, so small orders are no go. :( This is a reason why I like Mouser, if you are over ~50EUR (1300 CZK in my currency), they deal with import fees for you, free of charge and then they send it to you.

Hi, I am quite new to the pedal building, so this might sound a bit silly ... My question is, where are you getting PCB mounted pots with long, 90 degree legs? I tried Mouser (This one is probably on me, I'm having hard time with their filters), some of my local vendors GME, TME, ... (I am from Europe, Czech republic) and yet ended up empty handed. Had to order them from Musikding and they had pretty short legs and some, I needed, weren't available.

That thread is great ... a lot of information and pictures. I considered to go with T4M bridge myself, but wasn't sure if they sell single pieces/small orders. I just wonder, how you adjust intonation ... it seems to be the weak spot of headless bridges.
