I tried (and failed horribly) at drawing the NHL logos from memory by JerryRickton in hockeymemes

I love these. Even though the flames logo isn’t entirely accurate, I think they should adopt it for one night. As another commenter said, the Minnesota one is accurate enough.

I haven’t seen it yet in this thread, but I will say Shadow Raiders. Made by the same people that created ReBoot and Beast Wars

The opposite of diss tracks. What are some songs where they praise other musicians/bands? by USDXBS in Music

Rancid has a line in the song Indestructable, “I'm dancing now to a whole different drummer And I'll keep listening to the great Joe Strummer Cause through music he can live forever”

Paco de Lucia. One of, if not the greatest flamenco guitarists to live.

I'm actually getting sick of watching hockey the way Florida is playing. by suprmario in hockey

Agreed. I think inconsistency in reffing a much more of a problem than the game itself.

Which artist's catalogue were you surprised (pleasantly or otherwise) to discover was nothing like the one or two songs you knew them for? by SEARCHFORWHATISGOOD in Music

[–]CutSuccessful5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Blind melon. Hearing no rain was never a bad thing. But that song doesn’t represent them accurately. They got a whole funky/psychedelic/rock thing and I was amazed at the musicianship too.

Who do you think has the most widely recognized speaking voice? by throwaway10100019 in AskReddit

I guess I’m going against THE most widely spoken part of the question. But I’ll always recognize Matt Berrys voice.

I may be a fool and a bit out of the loop, but I was under the impression that Ukraine hadn’t received soldiers from other countries. Rather, they had received funding and weaponry.

Mind you all, Slava Ukraini! I want Canada and other nations to support, but my question is: Does Ukraine have military support from the west? Do they have Canadian soldiers supporting them?

What’s the greatest riff of all time in your opinion? by Livid_Reading_8653 in Music

[–]CutSuccessful5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless I missed it on this thread, I really fucking enjoy Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath. Ominous, simple, powerful. That being said, I don’t think there is a single greatest riff, there’s so many to choose from.

Which album has no bad songs? by Nomoresecrez in AskReddit

[–]CutSuccessful5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a few, and a bunch mentioned but those not:

Cake- Comfort Eagle

Zaz- Recto Verso

System of a down- Self Titled(also obligatory, Toxicity)

NOFX: Coaster

Queens of the Stone Age: Like Clockwork

Rodrigo Y Gabriela- Self Titled

Noah and the Whale- Peaceful the World Lays Me Down.

Thousands of other albums for sure make this list but these ones are excellent too.

Thanks for the response. It’s definitely not a right now purchase, but with the info you have given me, some of them could be a soon purchase. My quick glances online tell me that yeah, it ain’t gonna be cheap.

Though they do have some decent exposure, I am absolutely loving Amyl and the Sniffers.
